- The Low Poly GameDev Bundle:
www.humblebundle.com/software...
This bundle is a collection of assets from Eldamar Studio and AnimPic Studio and is entirely composed of 3D low polygon style 3D asset packs. All of the Eldamar assets are in FBX format and can easily be used in any game engine out of the box. The Animpic assets are in Unity and Unreal Engine formats, but can easily be exported and used in other game engines.

I think they should just get rid of the middle tiers entirely. They are always so close in price to the highest tier that they never make sense by themselves.
I think it’s called popcorn pricing, they want you to always buy the high tier so they make the middle not worth it
There is also adjusting the price to match what is being sold. In this case I would say that the middle tier should cost somewhere between 7 to 9 dollars.
Nice, I'm having that!
Thank you for this
I'm disappointed half of the bundle has to be exported from Unity or Unreal to be used elsewhere.
Yeah, I'm not gonna pollute my computer with the huge downloads of unreal and unity just to export some resource packs.
ugh it sucks that you cant just redeem it through the unity store
Will these type of packs work in game guru max?
Sorry, I know this artist isn’t relevant to the video at-hand, but I just thought of this question and was wondering if you knew:
How difficult/easy would it be (if possible at all) to use/import individual parts of Synty assets in Raylib (that is, character models and individual things, not necessarily big scenes)? Also, would it be possible to get animations imported or only models?
I’m looking at studying this for myself sooner or later, but I just figured I’d ask someone who was familiar with both before possibly buying assets that I thought would work in my project(s) but end up not.
Thanks for these constant sale updates, btw!
If you buy assets directly from Synty's asset store, they include a download of fbx source files, files are mostly broken down, but not entirely (all the characters for example are usually stored in a single "characters.fbx") the level geometry fbx part of the synty packs are usually 1 fbx per component, and there is also usually a demo fbx that has all the various models used to create a demo scene. But building prefabs won't have an fbx equivalent if they're made of modular components in the game engine.
edit: I should add, Synty has a totally free "Starter Pack" on their website so you can find out how well their assets will work for you without having to spend anything.

Thank you!
For AnimPic, there were 5 that I didn't already have from previous bundles (including the nature one, which is way bigger than the rest). For Eldamar, some of them were only folders of fbx files, some of them have unitypackage's
Pro tip: on the AnimPic they have a sale right now. They said 'the nature pack will have UE support in 2 weeks".

There support is prompt and helpful.
Some of the Eldamar stuff was part of (at least) a bundle at Fanatical...
im confused, i downloaded this exact bundle last night and i got all the fbx files, but the texture files werent included
the texture files for Animpic are all there, but the Eldamar Content only came with fbx files, and occasionally 3 unity packages for Built-in, HDRP, and URP
Last time I've tried to import FBX in Godot, it imported the model but not the material (the nice lowpoly tree was completely white). If it's just fbx, no thanks.
They should "just work". I do find the secret is to bring in the textures first though.
@@gamefromscratch Well, the model I wanted to import had textures embedded directly in the FBX so...
I was interested in grasslands pack but its unity only (UE4 user)
Pro tip: on the AnimPic they have a sale right now. They said 'the nature pack will have UE support in 2 weeks".
Nice style, but I think that I sadly will skip this one. I am kinda tired of keeping track of what I own on different platforms. If the creators are reading this, just make a sale for the specific engine and give me keys for that place, please.
Fair, but what I do is download them and index with AssetLibrary, so it's easier to find things and everything is in one place, even from different sources. I'd use it even if I wasn't using Unity, because it's just useful as a browser of large amounts of assets, but there's also a software called Connecter (ending in "er") that could be good for it too. (If you can get through their very corporate style page.)
would this work in Roblox?
Am I the only one who feels bad for using assets I did not create?
Not me, I use assets all the time
Why would you feel bad? They are for the exact purpose, to use for your games. Not everyone is a 3d artist and it could save some time next to stuff you did make yourself.
I make plugins and you shouldn’t feel bad, we make them to help devs make games quicker and cheaper.
The only time you should feel bad is if you're doing shameless asset flips, if you're putting in the work to make your own systems and even tweak assets to your liking I see no point in feeling bad
@@outlander7370
While you and the others in here are absolutely right, I think that I feel this way because I'm losing the uniqueness of the game knowing that the exact asset can be seen in a different project.
Totally a me problem, but I prefer working harder and having self made assets only I have (At least my project is a 2D pixelated game)
not an epic key 💀
