A DAY IN ST HEILER | Capital of JERSEY (Solo Travel Vlog) 4K

Join me on my trip to Jersey's capital 'St Helier', as I spend the day exploring all the cool hidden gems and iconic landmarks that this town has to offer.
I started my day off by visiting the main shopping areas, which have some amazing gardens, floral displays and French inspired building. Stopping off at Jersey's Central market, I took some time to take in the beautiful dressed independent stalls, before finishing with a slice of cake.
Next I visited Liberation Square which is where the Jersey Museum, Art Gallery and Victorian House is located. Here you can seen a furnished victorian styled jersey house, gaze upon various art works and relieve some Jersey most notable history.
Just a short walk away is the main Jersey marina area, where I stopped by the Maritime museum. This is a really interesting place for lots of maritime history and has the incredible occupation tapestry gallery, which has been hand made by the Jersey community. It's very impressive!
The rest of my afternoon was spent over at Elizabeth Castle. Normally you can walk out to this little island, but as the sea was in I had to catch the water bus across, which was a fun experience in itself. In between visiting the various views points, museums and castle ruins, there was a soldiers weaponry demonstration, which was fun introduction into the castles history and what it was like back during the wars.
Lastly to finish of my day, I continue along the sea front from St Helier and made my way to beautiful seaside area called St Aubin, which has lots of cute little places to eat at and an old Fort which is fun to explore.
