I want to share my thoughts on this. Personally, I am biologically Bengali, but I was born and raised by my mother’s family and have taken my grandfather’s surname from my maternal side. Despite this, I have never faced any issues identifying as Naga. Perhaps it’s because I maintain a low profile or because I am male, but in my experience, identity isn’t something to be debated or policed by outsiders. If someone ever questions your identity, I suggest you remind them that it’s not their place to decide. Let them take the matter to the village council or the clan chief. If they accept you as Naga, who are these individuals to challenge it? Identity, especially in a society as complex as ours, is not solely determined by biology or patriarchal traditions but also by lived experiences and community acceptance.
I wish people would stop using the word 'title' for surnames! According to the Indian Constitution there's only two titles that a person can use along with their name academic title (Dr, Er, prof etc) and honorary titles (gallanty awards, national awards etc) so Jamir, Rongmei, Mero etc are surnames or clan names not titles
Exactly!, tbh every person from these two tribes have some sort of relations with the miyas through their parents, uncle, unties or relatives etec etc..Need a thorough appraisal before we marry any one of these two tribes,or else you might end up having Ankita or Rakesh as your blood relations..😅

There were time when I thought we Nagas have advance in our mentality, but that’s far from the truth, the amount of racist, ignorant people in the comment section is disheartening and scary at the same time. To whom it may concern, It's important to understand that biologically, we inherit 50% of our DNA from each parent. So while she may be South Indian by blood, she is equally Naga. This idea that we're solely defined by our father's race is a misconception rooted in patrilineal thinking. We're a blend of both our parents' heritages, and it's narrow-minded to think otherwise. And for this reason, there is no restriction-she can use whichever surname she chooses. It's disheartening to see people who cry for inclusivity and against discrimination when someone call them with names and that they don’t look Indian yet turn around and make such unreasonable and divisive comments. As Nagas, we should take pride in our culture, but let's not forget that there's always room to learn and grow from others. Unreasonable Superiority complexes only hold us back, remember we are still tribals, look around us, what’s there even to even celebrate? We Naga people needs to be educated when it comes to mix marriages, if the parents are from different races or tribe. It is known as mix marriage and the children inherit both the culture, which makes the children 50/50. In her case, she has south indian blood, Ao, and rongmei aswell, pretty multi ,I Cannot say the exact ratio but thats what she is. She is mix of different tribe and race. So she is also a naga, actually more of Naga blood in her, considering the grandma from dads side is also a naga.

Sis u r from south Indian n using Naga title.that means u dont want ur father
I think she was born here and grew up in nagaland.
Yes! Here since forever! 🤌🏼🤍
So that means if non local born and grew up in nagaland then he or she can be naga right
@@jack-it9hs No,they can't be Naga if there is no bloodline but they can say they are from nagaland because they were born and brought up here.
@@V1510N-7they can say they’re from Nagaland of course but they can’t say there’re one. That’s the difference 😊

I have to agree on this. She should be selective in these sponsorships. We all understand that she needs money but researching a sponsorship before accepting. Will this deal give value to your viewers? How is their past success rate? Creating an unshakable business takes years.
This girl looks so polite and sexy
Whatever people says and comments negative about you, it's truly none of your business, Just grow like a river in your life 💓 bcoz surely oneday people will 👏 clap to you after success 🖐️❤

Her mother is Ao
Her grandfather is South Indian
Her grandmother is rongmei
So her father is a mixture of South Indian n rongmei
25% South Indian
25% rongmei
50 % Ao

Your new subscriber Eva. Loved ur vloging ❤
Eva u not original naga?🥰💔
I saw some sumi UA-camrs their looks are purely like mainland Indian but I didn’t see these kinds of comments on their channel..
And Eva looks are like any other other Naga looks. So why people are pushing her?
Who? Can you named?
We Naga people needs to be educated when it comes to mix marriages, if the parents are from different races or tribe. It is known as mix marriage and the children inherit both the culture, which makes the children 50/50. In her case, she has south indian blood, Ao, and rongmei aswell, pretty multi ,I Cannot say the exact ratio but thats what she is. She is mix of different tribe and race. So she is also a naga, actually more of Naga blood in her, considering the grandma from dads side is also a naga.
Okay, but we Nagas are a patriarchal society. So, at the end of the day, if her dad is a Malayali, she is a Malayali. What is there to be ashamed of? Malayalis are friendly, highly educated and civilized people, she should be proud of that fact
@@hosa_kobo Yes, I'm not denying that either ,she should carry her father's surname but the amount of racist comments in the comment section, surely is hurting the sentiment of children who have parents from different tribes/races, it's not about losing identity or confusion of one's identity, it's simply that they inherit both the culture which pure breed wouldn't understand.
Forget the hate!!!!
New subscriber here😊
God bless you abundantly ❤
She is recalling me thanks a lot.
Love your contents, but you should refrain from using Naga's title it's pretty clear. And to avail reservation jobs by using it is definitely wrong.
So it's finally open for Jamir too😂

So humble..keep it up 💪👍
Mathew 7:3-5 Jesus reminded us not to be hybocrites and blame others but look at our own faults and limitations first. The bible says that blaming others is a sign of immaturity. So let us love, respect one another that is the will of God....❤🙏
If you and your friend has eaten on that wrong wedding than she shouldn't have taken back the money 😅
