Hi Stephen. So nice to see you again.
Beautiful job on the sky the colors match so nice excellent as always!
Fantastic start to a beautiful painting - heading to watch part 2 now. Your videos are always some of the best on UA-cam!!! _(PS - the sounds of it raining made the painting come to life as you started on the water. It was almost as if you could actually hear the water and waves. Super cool, lol)_
Hi Stephen another excellent one 😀
Great tutorial Stephen, love the colour combinations, and I do remember that rain, I got caught out in it at Cobh myself that day.
This was great. I need to start painting....rain sounds bad.
Hi Stephen, did you ever try doing a type of another world scenario type sunset with another large planet at the side and 2 suns? I always dream of what a place might be like. I'm sure there's many of them... 3 body problem.. !
What is the best sheet canvas to to buy? I'll be making my own frames.. thanks a lot Stephen.
The canvas i use is 200g linen canvas in rolls. its very strong but cheap also. I also use any cheap canvas boards and stretched canvas
@@EasyOilPainting would I get that in Evens art supplies in Dublin. If it's one thing I seriously don't have a clue about it's the canvas and what to buy. I don't want to pay a fortune for my first attempt. Do they then have to be primed with an undercoat of paint? This is something I'm afraid to buy too quickly. ... Thanks Stephen much appreciated.
@@rkillian7233 no problem at all.. i get canvas boards and stretched canvas panels in places like deals . Euro giant etc. They are primed but not great. I do give them a quick prime with watered down household undercoat. It works brilliant. Waterbased one....
