The jeans are CRAZY. They go from $44.99 to $64.99 for nothing special. Any shirt that isn’t a plain tee is over $20. I applaud you for even trying to look through the clearance section, since they’re always a total mess

Yeah, Old Navy hasn’t been cheep for years now. They started going up on their prices within the last 15 years. They’re cheaper than Gap but trying to reach their prices. You gotta wait until they have sales and sometimes the sales online are better. I never buy anything full price.

For the clearance item that was marked $44.99, it was VERY obvious that the associate that was doing the markdowns did NOT override the full price for half-off in the Back of House app on the Zebra device (which would’ve been $22.49). Most of the time, the only full-priced items that are put in clearance are online exclusive items that a store gets via online returns. Normally when we get those, we are told to either put it with other items that look similar to it (and if the other items are discounted, the cashier would override it for the same discount, should a customer ask about it), or put in clearance for half-off the original price. Could likely be that, or the item did NOT belonged in clearance and the associate had not bothered to return it to the correct place and just marked it down for the hell of it.
Old Navy is only not expensive during holidays😂😂😂 sign up for the emails that's how I get my discounts for gap and old navy...the clearance in my area always hit though
