Anyway I'm sure there's some sort of fuzzy anime logic at work that's left open to interpretation. And yes Cordelia's final "performance" was amazing, it sent chill down my spine

Depending on what you like there's still many that are, occasionally coming up. Though fairly rare. Isekai became the new thing, but within the Isekai genre itself there are some outstanding stand outs. For mystery shows I can't think of any super good ones outside of this, but for those with romance and tsundere character I'd go Toradora, not the same type of show as Gosick. Fruit baskets is a fantastic journey, Ascendance of a bookworm is also amazing. Sing "Yesterday" with me is still coming out, but is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. For a movie I'd go with I want to eat your pancreas, A silent voice, Your Name. Outside of that, Overlord is probably the best isekai hands down, perhaps Re Zero being a close second or on par, Somali and the forest Spirit is one of the most heartfelt shows I've ever seen-though it seems like it's finished halfway through, Madoka was, is, and remains the best Magical Girl show, though it's far from a traditional. Another is the best horror show, taking what Higurashi did good and amping it. Keep your hands off my Eizouken was also odd, but still great. Those are just what I can think of right now. If ya' need more let me know.
