Also, for SatAM, after the cancellation of Sonic Underground in 1999, DiC Entertainment was going to revive Sonic SatAM in 2001 for a third season and even a theatrical movie released in 2002, but this person who is hated in the Sonic fandom called Ken Panders got the attentive revival and spin-off movie canceled in favor for his own animated Sonic movie based off of the Archie comics which was scheduled for a 2007 release, that movie also got canceled, and since SatAM got it's complete series DVD released in 2007, Ben Hurst who was in charge of the show passed away in 2010, Christine Cavanaugh who voiced Bunnie Rabbot, passed away in 2014, DiC Entertainment going out of business in 2008 and all the shows being bought by DHX Media, which has been renamed to WildBrain Studios, the same studio that owns My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, other Hasbro cartoons, and other cartoons, it is most likely that a revival might not happen, but since there's a Sonic cartoon that's premiering next year called Sonic Prime, Jaleel White voicing Classic Sonic in that show, and it's being produced by WildBrain Studios, so there could be an episode where SatAM could and it's official conclusion that fans have been waiting for years for, and maybe even Sonic Underground, also, there's a UA-cam channel called Team Sea3on, their people that are making the third season of SatAM, they are currently animating the season, the script has been completed. Also, this is a common misconception but the Archie comics aren't a continuation of the SatAM series, SatAM and the Archie comics are in their own separate universes
Jaleel hasn't been confirmed for the show. But I would definitely enjoy if he does appear, especially since he has voiced Sonic, albeit unofficially for the #rally4sally last year.
They forgot the Hanna Barbara Pac Man, and Saterday Supercade (Mario's 1st voice was by Petter Colin). Also a similar concept of Robot Master powers effecting Mega Man's mood DID happen in the comics. Plus, laughed so hard at mentioning Robotnick YTP!😆😆😆 "SNOOPINGAS!" They also forgot Earth Worm Jim.
A series I noticed was missing was the 1994 Double Dragon series by DiC. I watched a bit of it and saw inspiration from the NES version of the game in the pilot.

It is surprising how Mortal Kombat made a Saturday morning cartoon aimed towards kids despite the series known as a violent fighting game. Imagine if Doom had a cartoon where it centers around the Doomguy being paired up with two bumbling characters and the trio act like The Three Stogges or if Resident Evil had a show where Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and the other S.T.A.R.S members were a team that were similar to G.I Joe or the Ghostbusters crew and at times they stop Wesker and The Umbrella Corporation from taking over the world. Also, I give Mortal Kombat Defenders of Earthrealm points that Nightwolf's pet wolf wasn't given the Scooby-Doo stereotype treatment
I love Kirby right back at ya when I was little, But a show he should have added to the list should have been Sonic X. That was a good show back in the day.
I know you said that you weren't gonna include all of the video game cartoons, but considering that you include four different Sonic cartoon shows, why didn't you include Sonic X?
Accounting for the Mega Man cartoon, with that episode featuring Mega Man X, they were also going to green light a spin off focusing on him. To be honest though, since the conflict in the X series is way more serious than the original, it would not fit this format.

@@reviewer945 Maybe, but i think it's universally agreed that the show is better than the games it was based on. Believe me, most videos i've seen on it talk about how "underrated" it is and that it's the "best" Sonic cartoon.
If there's one of these lists for video game anime, then I HIGHLY recommend Dragon Quest: Adventure of Dai. It's a crime how little attention that show's getting for how good it is.
Sam & Max: Freelance Police also counts as a videogame cartoon. "It's been at least 5 minutes since my last brush with death and I'm getting light in the head." "Try eating a cookie."
Sonic Underground is an awesome series because of its original and unique storytelling. I don't mind that the show doesn't reflect the originals games.

@@LittleLexi24kirby right back at ya is considered an anime by many including companies, just with 3d/cg elements.
@@RaineKugami
That’s true…
Bunnie's VA died? :'( i didnt even know that.
Wasn't SatAM loosely based on the Archie Comics series?
@@LordMetalSonic1987 yup
@@UltimateGamerCC Yeah, she passed away, she was also the voice actress for Dexter in Dexter's Lab, Chuckie in Rugrats, & Gossalin in Darkwing Duck
They forgot the Hanna Barbara Pac Man, and Saterday Supercade (Mario's 1st voice was by Petter Colin). Also a similar concept of Robot Master powers effecting Mega Man's mood DID happen in the comics. Plus, laughed so hard at mentioning Robotnick YTP!😆😆😆 "SNOOPINGAS!"
They also forgot Earth Worm Jim.
There were so many memes I could have commented purely off these series alone.
A series I noticed was missing was the 1994 Double Dragon series by DiC. I watched a bit of it and saw inspiration from the NES version of the game in the pilot.
Where the hell is Sonic X? Y'know, the most accurate Sonic cartoon in existence?
I extremely agree with that my friend.
Sonic Prime and Sonic X are the best two Sonic cartoons, change my mind
@@kirbstagoontheaxolotlwhat about Sonic Boom and SATAM ?
@@Nabnab_TheTwistedOne Never watched SATAM, but Sonic Boom makes most of the characters too inacurate for my liking, and Sticks is just too loud. And they have too little appearences of Shadow. Literally, favorite character in Boom is Tails, and this is coming from the person who binged BOTH SEASONS
Dreamworks Villains: Dumb to Brilliant
The Garfield Show: Good to Evil
Let me guess.
Good: Odie
Grey: Garfield
Evil: Nathan
7:20 Why is PMATGA considered the worst?
Jim Carrey characters good to evil
Good: Ace Ventura
Neutral: The Grinch
Evil: Dr. Robotnik
Sonic X: Am I a joke to you?
I used to have Sonic Underground on DVD and watched it religiously.
I enjoyed this list, but I say SatAM should have been at number two instead of Sonic Boom, I found Sonic Boom less entertaining, and I'm surprised Sonic X wasn't mentioned, and to be entirely honest, I actually quite enjoyed Sonic Underground, I actually enjoyed it more than Sonic Boom, and I mean that in the most respectful way possible, as for Kirby: Right Back At Ya, I love the voice they gave King DeDeDe.
Also I'm still waiting for y'all to do a good to evil on all five of Sonic's TV shows, including the OVA
True. Even I prefer Sonic Underground over Sonic Boom
@@Dzuno18 Same
rabbids invasion, skylanders academy, angry birds shorts, carmen sandiego, sonic x, and wakfu: *crying in a corner*
Not gonna lie,it kinda hurt me that The Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog was so low.I watched the entire show on Netflix. If you actually watch the entire show you start to love it.
5:20 to me, Sonic Underground is a guilty pleasure. It’s silly, but I kind of like it! I don’t know why, I just like this show!
Same here
to each their own, but i knew that one look at it and it was gonna be terrible.

The Walking Dead Villains: Evil to Most Evil.
I died laughing when Link said "o boy smooching time"😂

"Kirby Kirby Kirby, that's name for you know" good story telling, too bad it's only limited to nightmare.
tbh, would like to see it again as new branch of season about other games up to forgotten land

Videogames based on Cartoons: Worst to Best
I’m glad Sonic Boom is high up on the list. It’s one of my favourite shows

We all know that Castlevania would be the number 1 😎🦹♂️
It was the series that broke the video game adaptation curse, before movies like Monster Hunter and the live action 2021 Mortal Kombat movie came along and restarted the curse
just shows that censorship hurts video game adaptations and when the gloves come off, adaptations can shine.

And now it's Arcane!
Animated Heroines: Dumb to Brilliant
First avi arad ruins spider man 3 and now he messes with pac man

Disney Channel Heroes: Smart to Brilliant
It would be nice to see where Sonic X and Megaman NT Warrior place compared to all their other iterations
probably closer to BEST somewhere on the scale, they were pretty good and i know NT Warrior got a BUNCH of games made for it.
@@UltimateGamerCC 6 main games (with three of them having up to 3 versions) plus many spinoffs. The Battle network franchise was humongous during the early and mid 2000’s, and it’s sad it’s kind of forgotten to this day.

Wait, NT warrior came before the games? I thought it was the other way around.

Well, TMS and ShoPro own these programs respectively, and they don't feel comfortable having footage of their programs being used by other UA-camrs.

Best cartoon: The Cuphead Show
Pac man and the ghostly adventures is great 😊
Are we not going to talk about the fact that Doctor Robotnik’s voice actor is the SATAM Sonic series is Jim Cummings?!?
You know Whinnie the Pooh, Tigger the Tiger and other Friendly Disney characters
He also voiced some not-so-friendly Disney characters. Off the top of my head he voiced Ed and Scar (for the final stanza of "Be Prepared"). The guy is a legend among cartoon VAs and is comparable to Rob Paulsen in his talent.
Fun fact: Jim Cummings was originally going to voice Dr. Robotnik in The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog
@@Dzuno18 He was better as the SatAM Robotnik.
@@JamesDavy2009 True.
That's not a surprise he's everywhere.
I'm big Sonic fan
I was amazed Sonic X didn't end up on the list. That was such a great show, and a bit of my childhood. But, hey, I'm not gonna complain.
Right! I was looking for this and the Mega Man NT Warrior
I think cause it’s an anime

James Cameron’s Titanic characters: Good to Evil

Warner The Bloody Cartoon
I love Kirby right back at ya when I was little, But a show he should have added to the list should have been Sonic X. That was a good show back in the day.
What about Sonic X? Where would it be on the list? It was one of the most iconic gaming shows!
Well, they did say they couldn't include EVERY video game cartoon ever. Which is understandable since it'd probably take ages talk about them all.
Sonic SATAM an Underground were actually based on the Archie Comics, rather than the games.
Exuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me princess
Words of a wise man
had they kept Link a silent protag, that Cartoon would probably still be going on.
I know you said that you weren't gonna include all of the video game cartoons, but considering that you include four different Sonic cartoon shows, why didn't you include Sonic X?
I love Kirby right back at ya! It’s always been my all time favorites, Kirby is just too cute and that’s why Kirby made it on this list
Accounting for the Mega Man cartoon, with that episode featuring Mega Man X, they were also going to green light a spin off focusing on him. To be honest though, since the conflict in the X series is way more serious than the original, it would not fit this format.
I live in the UK and I remember once reading in our Nintendo Official Magazine that the first Tak game was originally going to be on PSone and Nintendo 64! They even printed screenshots from the scrapped N64 version! Knowing when Tak was released, I think they should’ve continued development on the PSone version while also bringing us the PS2, Xbox and Gamecube versions.
Darkwing Duck Characters: Good to Evil.
Yes please!
The Castlevania show looks very impressive, but I hate how nowadays people think Castlevania is just "that one Netflix show"
Those people are the non gamers.
I did not expect Tak and The Power Of Juju to win the Gold Medal of Bad, but then again, I don't really remember it or the game series it's based on.
i feel that it wasnt the worst though, at least 2 video game adaptations didnt even make it past the Pilot.

Are you sure Sonic boom gets too much hate? Because i've seen more love for it than hate.
@@worthybutter2004 Not only am I sure it gets more hate then it should ( because people not including me despise the Sonic Boom games and don't really give the show a chance simply for that reason) but I'm convinced that the hate from those fans is why there wasn't a third season.
@@reviewer945 Maybe, but i think it's universally agreed that the show is better than the games it was based on.

Sam & Max: Freelance Police also counts as a videogame cartoon.
"It's been at least 5 minutes since my last brush with death and I'm getting light in the head."
