Episode 3 takes us to Monte Brento, Italy to follow Nate as he trains with Alexander Polli and other friends. He starts to learn to fly his suit with more speed and aggression and slowly edges closer and closer to terrain.
GroWings is a six-episode web series which follows wingsuit pilot Nathan Jones over the summer, traveling and training throughout the mountains of Europe to prepare himself to reach his goal of flying the more technical and advanced terrain of Brévent in Chamonix, France. We welcome you to an insight into the amazing community and lifestyle of BASE jumpers and wingsuit flyers.

As somebody else planning on doing my AFF soon, I'm aiming to do a jump every week, but also weekend sessions and week long holidays where i do 1, 2, or 3 jumps a day. I think this is the quickest way forward. I'm going to spain for two weeks to do my AFF (8 jumps) plus 10 jumps solo jumps. From my research, it's expected you'll do 200-500 sky dives before a base jump, then similar amount of base jumps, then lots of wing suit practice in skydive form, then you can move on to basic wingsuit base.

Nate, I'm 16 and will do my first aff jump in a month, planning to do a jump every week, when do you estimate i'll be able to do wingsuit jumps/base jumps ? Rock on dude, you're awesome, great personality
Has to be the most dangerous sport in the world.
I'm not sure how many jumps they recommend. But its a big suit and you want to be very confident in flying a smaller suit first :)

Nathan, how many ws jumps does Squirrel recommend before flying the Colugo? Having a little trouble finding it on their site (I could be just missing it :))
Olá. I live in England. I could do my AFF here, but it would cost basically just as much as it would to fly to spain, stay there for two weeks, and do it all in one go in much nicer weather. I had hoped to have it booked by now, but I race motorbikes too and have faced a few unexpected costs recently. I did some research a while back and spoke to a few dropzones. I was impressed with: freefalluniversity
