I love when there's a new "cool tool" out there. An extra pair of hands. Thanks a bunch.

Excellent video. I've used it for a taper, edge jig.

Very great clamping system Michael. I've had them for several years and they have amazing versatility. They are REALLY good for holding parts in place to install Kreg screws after you have drilled the pocket holes. I really like the system attached to the Milwaukee Pack-Out system. Thanks for sharing with your community.

There are so many uses for these clamps! A search of UA-cam will give you other creators that are using them as well.
One of my favorite ides is you can put dovetails on both sides of a board and then be able to clamp the bottom down to something to hold it stable and also work of of the top - such as clamping it to the bed of your truck for a secure work surface.

I like that system, Michael. The skies the limit on versatility. Good find & great video as always.

I found this system a bit ago. I fell in love. I haven’t used it to its full capabilities. But it can do so much. I have the microjig grippers as well. I have had them for many years. I love them.
    Thanks for sharing.

It's simple and easy. Not too proprietary. Sounds like a winner!

I love matchfit and have a bunch. The hardware is quite expensive for what it is tho. Some are easy to make with hardwood tap and epoxy.

A very timely video. I am trying to get started on the walls for my vintage trailer build. I will be using the original skin on a large temporary table. This could be great to clamp down all the framing during assembly.

Great overview Michael and yes, they are certainly amazing. I've had them for a few years now and they are super versatile and convenient. I've just moved my shop into a much larger space after a recent renovation at home and I'll be incorporating them into some workbenches I'll be making. Every day there's a new and wonderful way to apply these beauties. Pretty pricey here in Oz though. Cheers from Sydney - Dave

Looks like a great system for building rc planes, may have some use in trailer builds as well, overall a neat looking setup.

I think a really good application would be to make a zero clearance jig that would fit on top of a miter or sliding miter saw. Probably 3/4 ply. Make it so you have room for a stop block so you can make duplicating cuts. Maybe stop block matches width of your jig and has a lip that keeps block square. Also for safety it could hold small pieces keeping your hand away from the blade. What guy doesn’t use a miter saw with a bigger gap then necessary.

Great informative video Michael! I noticed that the manufacturer, on his display, used his dovetail clamping system combined with an Festool MFT style table top.

Thanks for the tool demonstration! There is a UA-cam channel called Robert Dailey Woodworks and he uses these clamps all the time and he uses them in dog holes too. I’m curious how these will hold up in the OSB. I’ve had dovetails rip out in softwoods and OSB for jigs I’ve made. They are pricey but I do need to get some.

Another creator that uses these is "Christcross Crafts". He has an awesome table saw sled with a ton of jigs on it, and a drill press table. As for OSB - I cannot find the vid of the test/comparison - but the OSB and MDF held up better than expected and will work fine for some applications, and these definitely held up better than T Tracks.

Well, it's been over a year... How many more dovetails does your Table have now? Is it as good as what you thought??
Jay Bates youtuber has a bench or sawhorse that he has all sorts of cool jigs made for it... Might check him out.. Cool..
But, I am curious to know if you are still going with them...
The only problem I can see is Dust/screws, etc getting into the holes, but, seems minor considering..

I've seen those types of clamps before but your video gives me ideas (very dangerous to be giving ME ideas, haha). Only thing I would do differently would be to use a good quality 3/4" birch plywood, not OSB. It's got much stronger holding power against any tendency for pullout.

That’s so cool! Using my foot as a “clamp” to cut PVC is really not OSHA approved 😂 some inventions are just life changing
