Anyone in the medical field that deals with cognitive tests, cringe with 2nd hand embarrassment every time Trump acts like passing one means he's "a stable genius."
Passing it just means he gets to go home unaccompanied.
Truly, he is a buffoon...
What else can be expected of a self-proclaimed very stable genius?
Complete with the orange complexion.
Also, He only brags about doing things he never did. so did he pass?
My grandma used to boast about acing her cognitive tests too. But she was 95, in a study about dementia symptoms, and never thought windmills killed whales.
Hes not only a buffoon, he is King Buffoon
Called them idiots, to their faces, and they cheered him on. Obviously, he's not wrong.
Well you know what they say about a broken clock.
'I Love the uneducated"

His accidental honesty is at least entertaining. Like when he told that town he wouldn't have bothered visiting if the race wasn't so close. Also "I love the poorly Educated"
Deplorable and dumb.

Yes! Thank you! I've been scrolling down the comments hoping someone mentions this. I'm wondering if these are the 5... I mean... 6 "names" he now changed completely because he couldn't think of the original ones.
That's what I was coming down here to say :D

And he won’t leave it alone! 🙄🤦🏻♀️
I wouldn't be surprised if Biden has done it once or twice, he's just sharp enough to know not to bring it up in public.
He forgot about the other 5 tests he had to do. And he SAID he was to pay for good results. He didn’t pay, he forgot to do so.
Biden can't remember what he had for breakfast five minutes ago. That's why he refuses to take the test. What a coward.

under reporting the number of things in the memorization test for tax purposes joke deserves a grammy
I had an episode last year where I lost 4 hours of memory. I had to go to several doctors in the weeks after, and I had to take the cognitive test he talks about in this episode. I passed it, but due to my health issues it provided somewhat of a challenge. My reflexes weren't great, and I had trouble keeping simple counts and coming up with words that I wanted to say. It took me several weeks to get back to my old self.
My point in all of this? I never would have to have taken that cognitive testing if something hadn't happened to me that made a Doctor feel the need to give me that test. They were testing me for a seizure or a stroke.
When I was 3 my mom got me a see-n-say with the animals speaking. I freaking NAILED IT!

That's $88.3 million.... he lost both cases. What's funny is he appealed the second case and posted $5 million. Question is, does he have cash on hand to post $83.3 million? As a doctor here, please know that the cognitive test being described is the Montreal Cognitive Assessment or (MOCA). You can pull up the pdf yourself online. The test is only difficult if you have dementia. Otherwise, it is silly and the wrong test to refer to when one proclaims their ‘smarts’
Exactly, I'm a 63-year-old nurse working with Alzheimer's and dementia patients and we administer these tests many times a week
I think Trump is talking about MMSE...The mini-mental state exam test. Dr. Ronnie Jackson, who is not a neurologist, or neuro-psychologist, wouldn't give him the MOCA, which takes more time and is slightly harder. But mostly just longer.
@@WolfRamAndHart- what Trump describes is the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, not the MMSE. Except he seems to think there is math involved, which there is not in either of them.

So...i literally screen my patients with either of two tests: the CIT6 test for the person under 65 with no known cognitive issues, and then the Montreal Cognitive Test for the older folks to determine level of functioning, because you can get reaaaaally good at faking it and protecting your brain from having to do the things its bad at doing. The latter test sounds like the one he took....which is just incredibly easy, unless you have cognitive issues. The fact that he thought "the questions were easy at first, but got harder" means something is wrong there. The whole thing should be cake to anyone with full faculties.
Which one is the one that makes you draw a clock? Is that just in Europe?
@@TheAccidentalViking
There are more complex memory and cognitive assessment tests that can include drawing a clock, drawing a 3D cube, or even copying a similar image. They assess visual-spatial reasoning as well as memory (& other elements of cognitive function). More in depth memory tests also do include lists of words (usually 7) that are asked to be repeated back at different intervals and in the middle of thinking about other things. You do get more points if you get them in order.
It sounds like he has had some more comprehensive memory/ "cognitive" tests, but he seems to blend them all together when he talks about it.
Maybe he doesn't want to 'admit' he's had more tests, maybe he doesn't think the different tests are especially relevant... maybe he doesn't know what the hell is going on. Who knows.
First off: all cognitive tests have questions that increase in difficulty.
Second: not only did he pass but also scored higher than 98% of all Americans including democrats.
You're a buffoon.
@TheAccidentalViking there's a few that make you draw a clock, but the Montreal (MoCA) does, and gives you 3 points for correct clock drawn showing the correct time. It's a pretty solid screening with larger studies showing pretty good evidence to rule out cognitive decline, and around 2pt decrease year over year in alzheimers, which can be helpful. Evidence for the cutoff is mixed with some evidence saying they need to be above 25 out of 30 to meet criteria for normal cognition, and some saying 24. Still some more strict clinicians see any points loss as potential for an issue. The only consession I can think of is for people with less than 12yrs of education may get some extra leniency.
@gmun2248 it sounds like the MoCA which is a pretty common screening for any cognitive decline, especially when done year after year, and it includes all the parts he's talking about. Accept for in his version I guess the animals are first? Whereas in any that I know about, that stuff is about halfway through the screening lol, and him remembering them at the beginning is telling lol

PS - I sat with my 95 year old Mother who didn't drop a question when she went into assisted living. And it took her less than 10 minutes. Not 30 minutes. There was no math question involving thousands multiplied and then divided. Trump hallucinated that; maybe because of the Provigil and Ambien. 30 texts after 2:00AM. Nah.
😂
The only thing that test is used for is to track decline over time. At 77, I happily took the test and got ,28 out of 30. This year, I've been encouraged and well prepared by the genius…ace!
Trump prefers snorting his Adderalls over Provigil. He’s been doing it for years. Have you ever heard how he sniffles? Long term drug use causes a deviated septum plus causes uncontrolled bowel movements… hence the nasty smell lingering around him.
The math part I've taken are they give you a number and tell you to subtract an amount, add an amount, etc. until they have a big enough sample to determine you can do it mentally. Not hard, not tricky and not complicated. Just need to remember the last answer you had, and do the action required.
If passing a cognitive test makes one a genius my 94 year old father was one along with millions of other seniors.

I'm pretty sure he already knew and was one of the people complaining that she shouldn't refer to herself as Dr. Jill because she's not a medical doctor
"YOU CANT RESUSCITATE A BOOK, LMAO" -some republican, somewhere
I stayed awake to 2am, here in Scotland, just to see Seth's newest monologue. Wasn't disappointed. Also, the MENSA test seems a lot easier in the US than here. 😂
Well it’s the USA, so?
He wasn't given a MENSA test back in 2018, he was given an early detection of mild cognitive impairment test or MoCA cognition test. SAD.
Nice one
@@MsBeachgirl10It was a joke…
Cognitive test, not Mensa
Soooo funny! Made me laugh out loud! Thanks so much...
Great segment as always!
As a doctor who teaches other doctors how to screen for dementia - Trump bragging about his MOCA-results is still comedy gold 😂
Do you feel like Joe would pass the test?
@@marc416 I don't know about Bidens cognitive health - but I know that it says something about a person when they openly brag about beeing able to identfy a lion...
@@fredrikerlandsson5091 Yes you do know about Biden's cognitive health. He is losing his mind just by the way he reads, walks, talks, and his utter confusion. You call it bragging, I call it gloating because you and your kind think he is dumb when he is actually very brilliant considering his age (close to Biden mind you) You may not like his personality, but he ran the country better than any of the last 7 that I have experienced.
Lions are pretty hard to be fair @@fredrikerlandsson5091
@@fredrikerlandsson5091 lmfao, take a like
That Carlson impersonation was eerily well done. Nailed the diction and inflection perfectly.
Brilliant!
Brick: “I love lamp.” Ron:”Brick, are you just saying things you see in the room?” 😂
Trump's Uncle was a professor for 37 years at MIT but THAT's not even close to the 61 year record by someone else at MIT NOT related to Trump.
Uncles and nephews don’t share the same genes, by the way. They share one-fourth of their chromosomes. Siblings share half of their chromosome's, and large disparities in intelligence between and among siblings is common.
Another lie! Imagine that!
Also, why is a guy who would never in a million years let anybody else take credit for his supposed "accomplishments", bragging about a family member's professional career in academics, as if that had anything to do with him?
Oh wait, he's been doing that in a much less subtle way with his own father since at least 1978, when he blatantly lied to journalists that Fred Trump was just a figurehead anymore and "The Donald" _really_ ran most of the company. Which was complete BS.
Cognitive tests are not supposed to be difficult, they're to determine if you are at a bare minimum. Passing the test is something literally every adult without dementia (or other cognitive disability) can do WHICH IS THE POINT.
And Dementia Diaper Donnie said it was hard - proving it has severe cognitive issues.
Now show us the big guys one.
As someone who sells long term care, I completely support this comment, but I can also confirm that they are more difficult than the two examples Trump gave. You also have to spell simple words backwards in most basic cognitive exams. Can you imagine him spelling? 😂
I would love to hear him explain the MMSE. “Starting at 100 count backwards by 7s”
“Oh easy. 100. 93. You know that was a good year for the Donald NINETY three. 9. 3. I find that actually the 93….is THEyear I know of as….WONDERFUL year for Trump. These numbers though…I don’t… we all like the numbers but you know what numbers I like? Billion. Billions. You want 7? That’s 7 billion if you….NINETY THREE. That’s a great year.”
They did have to change the tests, due to the newest generations inability to read a non LED clock ⏰.
I have never been more frightened to be an American citizen.
Great writing!
4:10 the guy clapping for 6 words kills me.
omfg. I'm a physical therapist assistant. I've worked at several nursing homes with speech therapists who regularly screen for dementia. That is so messed up that the presidential candidate is describing a dementia screen test as some sort of test for geniuses and bragging about acing it. Even at the nursing homes, I've never met a patient narcissistic enough to brag about passing that test, lol. We're doomed, guys.
Yet he has legions of evengelistic followers.
I had to take some tests as part of a diagnosis for dyslexia. Basically they give you written tests and oral tests and compare the scores.
Two questions I had on the oral test involve remembering digits. On the first one I was able to remembered 11 random digits in their original order and then I remembered nine random digits in reverse order. That second one was hard.
Right?? Occasionally people make one quick quip about passing it, but then they move on and never mention it again.
@@shannonweaver2169 passing what?
@@SeanPat1001 MMSE or the MoCa.
Great job ‼️
Lmao 😂 well done Seth. Love the impressions 😂
If you can't tell the difference between a cognitive ability test and an IQ test, you have failed both.
Answering what year it is is not much of an IQ test...
Top 2% on an IQ test is the cut-off for Mensa, so maybe he thinks the other 88% is de-mensa?
@@obgfosterother 88 percent you say?
@@user-zb9lv3gh8s LMAO!! I was thinking the same thing.... Oooops!
And even an IQ test is irrelevant to a 70 year old. What _is_ the functional knowledge of a 70 year old these days? That west coast TV viewers used to get the crummy telecines of the original east coast broadcasts?
Just remember what she said " I'D PARDON HIM". And she will STILL VOTE FOR HIM 🤬
