    I, too, have made stuff like this. And creatures all from found objects. The good fairies do help some of us artists!

    I just found your channel and I love your art. AND your sketches are absolutely stunning ... better than many people who are professional sketch artists. You are too critical of yourself. ❤ Thank you for sharing this.🙂

    Oh wow !!! How well you put all your little treasures together. Amazing craftwork. Just love it. You have a lovely sensitivity which shows in your work. I too, am a lover of found natural goodies. I have always thought of combining them in my artwork, and have only just recently started doing that - and loving it. What a wonderful way to repurpose, and also using it to bring to peoples attention, ( who might not otherwise notice them as we do) , a love for these things too. Thanks so much for your inspiration 🌿🌼🍃

    wow.....just wow.....your art is fabulous. I've always been a collector of things and have been doing found objects in my art for a couple of years as an older woman who always wanted to be an artist but didn't find my thing until I was older. The way you incorporate your collections into your art is absolutely stunning. I'm flabbergasted....your art totally speaks to me. I'm a new subscriber as of now!

    I'm an artist that goes through different types of art phases on a fairly regular basis, primarily watercolor and collage. . But for some reason ever since I was a small child I've been drawn to "found objects" . I don't know how I got to be 74yr old without seeing this kind of art. But I am grateful for finding you and this wonderful art style. (and grateful I've carted jars and boxes of what my adult kids call "junk" ....on every move I've made.) Thanks for sharing and I am a huge fan of yours now. Wonderful Art!!!!

    All of your found items are wonderful! Interesting to see how you incorporate the little treasures. I don't feel so alone now, knowing there are others who gather and use "odd" items. :)

    Oh, gracious! You've inspired me so much! I'm a collector of all things found on the ground too. I often call myself a pick-up artist. Though, I have to admit that I haven't done near as much with my found objects as you have yours. That may change not that I've seen this amazing collection. I can't wait to watch more of your videos!

      Did you ever get around to making a video of how to preserve your found items? Love this video and interested in the wire edges butterfly wings. Thank you if you answer. I found a beautiful dead butterfly that I would love to keep and use in a junk journal.

      I love listening to you and looking at all of your beautiful "found" treasures, many of which I have the same! Such an excellent video share- thank you!

    It doesn't matter that the resin yellowed. Looks old. Also bubbles add interest.

    Fantastic! Glad I stumbled upon your channel today. Very inspiring!!! Do you seal your rusty bits so they are not a health hazard?

    • @sandybabb8313
      @sandybabb8313  3 роки тому

      Yes, I seal my rusty components with a matte medium to help with erosion and for safety. At times I have used resin too but prefer the matte medium as it is not so shiny.

    FYI- Hi Sandy if you didn't know, about half to three quarters of the way through video the quality of filming was very blurred and out of focus....I was so disappointed I could barely see the books that you did on your nature walks near the lake and the last book about circles using found objects. Love your ideas.
