I was a lifelong wrestling fan until it was supercena era and I couldn't take it.First mania I watched in about 15 yrs, really enjoyed it , gonna watch raw tonight.First time in as many years
I was a super fan up until 2011. This WM brought me back, and got me interested enough to spend hours catching up on what I’ve missed. I left around the era with “un-dashing Cody Rhodes” so it’s crazy to see how far everything has come. Best WrestleMania EVER.
It’s crazy seeing these guys who were basically complete jobbers end up as THE Guys. Rhodes, McIntyre, even R Truth got his first WM win. Undertaker showing up and doing ‘The Undertaker’. What an era to come back to.
Chaels view on the Undertaker’s involvement as opposed to Stone cold Steve Austin is so accurate. I absolutely thought Stone Cold was going to be the final interference to overthrow The Rock. However, had that happened, the only thing we would’ve been talking about is the face off between Rock and Austin. It would’ve totally overshadowed Cody breaking the streak, winning the title, and having his moment. Genius decision from HHH.
We gotta stop expecting STEVE dude looked pretty broken down last time guys KO carried that match and he's doing great with his podcasts. Poor guy, keeps getting dragged telling him he should still compete or do anything physical. Love Steve. Dude was the best in some ways. Let him be sh**.
Chael not knowing about the connection between Pritchard and Cody's Father and Triple H and Cody's father comes off like some old guy in a rundown meth camper in Oregon yelling "Its still real to me dammit" at his television on Monday Night.
I don't take issue with his post-match celebration. It was a wholesome moment where he was high on emotion. Without making amends with the brass, his return wouldn't have happened. It's rare that we ever get to see the fourth wall being broken during broadcast. It adds a human element to the character that is being portrayed.
I think Auston is a great pro. However! I was never a SCSA fan. Loved the Undertaker showing up from parts unknown to play Sheriff and shut down Rocky's shenanigans.

I loved Wrestlemania and how it went but Chael is actually right. I would have loved if Cody pulled an Eddie Guerrero and went into the crowd with the title and celebrated with the fans.
Cody thanked the fans immediately after the audience turned the tide. The Rock also spoke about how the audience impacted things. This all took place weeks before WM.
watch some of Hogan's matches from Japan in the 80's. his matches were completely different. nothing like we got in the States. I grew up on Backlund and then Hogan and I was still suprised and impressed by those japan matches.
To me the psychology of the ending sequences with John Cena and The Undertaker fit in Perfectly with The Rock being "The Final Boss". Was very smart booking.
Wrestlemania was absolutely amazing especially Saturday night. I loved the main event. Rock/Roman vs Cody/Seth was one of the best matches I’ve ever seen in my life. The crowd started cheering “Rocky” “Rocky” Simply brilliant!! The Philly crowd was awesome. The Logan Paul match was my favorite on Sunday.
I have two big takeaways I disliked 1. Not enough Rock. Let’s be honest the main reason main stream America was invested in this feud was cause of the Rock awesome heel work both Cody n Reigns were pretty much boring on the mic this entire build up. I thought blood line rules meant we’d see more blood line messing up the match for Cody to make him more of an underdog yet we basically gave him a 1 on 1 until the very end which felt weak cause other wrestlers immediately saved Cody before we could even feel the hopelessness this overall mad the match feel generic and boring until the end were we see all the HoFers come in and save the match. I was expecting to see more of Rock bloodline and Momma Rhoades. Instead we basically got the same fight as last wrestlmania except the very end. 2. It should have been Stone Cold that came in to finish the Rock not the Undertaker who made zero sense and is not big enough of a star to put out the Final Boss The Rock. Their star power wasn’t close back then and it ain’t close now. There should only be two guys that can finish the Rock on that stage Hogan n Stone Cold. Stone Cold made a lot more sense because of him and Rocks legendary feud Taker being there makes no sense to me
On point one I definitely agree. If you go back and watch Backlash 2000 Rock vs Triple H you will see how to structure this type of match. Rock was fighting the odds the whole time, and almost won on his own too, before they threw everything at him at once. Then Stone Cold walks down at the last second and raises all hell in one devastating barrage. That is perfect
That’s what I mean we were think Austin with the truck ESPECIALY like cena being on it too and showed up first well look they got us the chills I was redy for the glass when the gong hit I had chills
I think the Internet unanimously agrees on this one Mr. Chael, you are completely wrong. that main event was everything. I haven’t watched wrestling in eight years, but I’ve watched it my entire life. This story along with the return of the rock, CM punk, and LA Knight they have sucked me back in. That was an emotional main event, one of if not the most emotional ones I’ve ever seen, the only thing I think they missed was maybe Hulk Hogan sitting in the crowd clapping that would have showed all of the eras of wrestling from the 80s till now. As much as I would have loved to see Stone cold in the undertakers spot you are correct about that there’s too much ego involved with them two so the undertaker made perfect sense.
having it be Taker who is/was the Locker room Dad giving his nod and sign of approval to/for Cody as the new face to carry the show! it was a genius way to add to putting Cody over basically just got put over by Taker it was the 100% right call epically with Rock saying he the final boss, the deadman shuts that down right away

Ngl i haven't watched wrestling since the attitude era, and i watched it and thought it was fantastic
Cheals right Cody should of first thanked the fans they are the only reason he got his moment
*have
Not of
I ENJOYED the finale, but it was way over the top!
Done right u shouldn't be aware of any clock
Nothing went wrong. Congrats Cody 🏆
I wanted a Roman W but Cody winning needed to happen tbh
Vince probably taking a dump now after watching this
Loool he said Cody and Roman was a bad match 😂😂😂…. Bro just stop! Even before all the over booking they was cooking.
Cody thanking Triple H and Bruce Pritchard is a disconnect from reality? And Cody turning heel?😂 Chael s trying real hard to pretend he understands wwe, and failing badly.
Damn brother you know a Hell of a lot more about this business than I have even heard from the Wrestlers!! No Shit!! I bet in a year tops HHH or WWE is going to call you and ask if you would like to be an announcer on raw or smack down! But you need another smart wrestling fan that is on the same level as you as far as your wrestling knowledge and they have to be a fan and kinda be the good guy to a degree!!
What went wrong? Chael wasn't in the main event.
The long elaborate matches are just total crap in wrestling. In fact matches kind of are in general. Monday night raw is better than the main events, the promos are what wrestling is about.
Nothing went wrong Uncle Chael there’s no need to make a drama and easy ad revenue out of it
Cody will go heel. it is easier to be a heel. He doesn't have the skill set to be a babyface. He would be a great heel.
I can't understand at this age why adults like to watch actors act like they are really doing something real like wrestling 😂😂😂 it still is acting
