About Dude Dad:
Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.
In addition to Dude Dad©, I have been in numerous TV shows, commercials, and have regular appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Amen, 💯. I figure, if I’m the one doing all the work, shopping, paying for and wrapping alllllll the gifts…mom gets the credit, not Santa.
My mother explained it as he has to give gifts to all the good children in the world and with so many he can only give one small gift to each kid.
Wow, I thought I was the only one doing that.
Yup thats what we do, Santa brings one gift per kid and does the stocking. Everything else is from mom and dad.

@@haleyanne86 I do sometimes too. My plan of attack is to start Christmas shopping early! I start in August and am usually done by the end of October 😂 this helps with the stress... hope it helps you too!

I like Trey as this adult character. Not the usual "ironic" thing he does. Just very low key and very relatable. So funny. 😂👏👍 Glad to see Trey finally collabing with this crowd. ❤️💕 Trey's Middle School Maddox was one of my favorites of his. Always wanted to see Myles of You Betcha's Boomer Lawn Dad character as his next door neighbor. Add Frank James to this mix somehow and I'll die happy.

We have 2 Christmases every year- we celebrate with 1 set of grandparents then the following weekend, the other set of grandparents visits (we live 3 hours from all family.) So I have to deep clean, cook a big meal, then clean up the mess 2 weekends in a row. Oh and my sister-in-law, brother-in-law & my brother all come too because they are all unmarried with no kids. They all spend the night both weekends so there's breakfasts to make too...every year my husband & I say we are going on vacation the following Christmas but never do

Lol. Im a mom of 7 grown children nd now have 13.5 grandchildren. I used to start shopping in October, just to be ready. Christmas was just like you guys played it, sometimes my younger ones wld get physically sick because of anticipation, so I started putting things under the tree on Christmas eve, after kids went to sleep, sooo as u can imagine.. itd be an all nighter waiting for them to go to sleep.... nd we'd be exhausted all day long., and dragging needing lots of coffee. I loved those days, nd have wonderful memories forever. .. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR WONDERFUL FAMILY.. GOD BLESS YOU ALL, and Happy New Year too.
My family starts shopping for Christmas, the day after Christmas. My ex husband questioned me about the habit once, because I found a perfect gift for my sister, in June. Told him that the store might not be there the next time I was in the area. I was right, we were back in August, and the store was gone. Sister loved the gift.

Put the wrapping paper in the trash bag and save the bows! We’ve always opened one present at a time so it’s not complete chaos and we can enjoy what each other gave and received.

My husband, adult daughter and myself were up until 1am this morning wrapping and building. I've cleaned my house five times today. I did get my husband socks.
