Awesome Daz!!! Love your sulcorebutia raushii plants!! So many cool cactus & succulents!!! On your Euphorbia inermis, the green branches don't look bad, I think it's just a matter of light intensity. In South Africa, the intensity is greater than the Ozarks and the U.K. so some won't keep their form. I had a copiapoa cinerea , a large one I brought from California. It hated it here!! Even in full sun it eteolated a bit. And then never grew for 25 years until it died. Anyway , I would trim the dead branches away to keep mealies from getting a hiding spot. These Medusoids are known to hide mealies under those branches!! So don t worry if the branches dont hold true form. My gorgonis doesn't have really thick branches like it should but it blooms so I'm not worried that it's unhealthy. You have a beautiful greenhouse collection!!! Very well organized & clean. It displays your plants great!!! Can't wait to see the inside tour!!! Thanks for sharing Daz!!! From Morris park in the Ozarks, to the U.K. & Singapore, have a wonderful weekend!!! Peace,Love,Plants!!!!✌💖🌵🌸🌴💐🌲🌺🍀🌻🌿🌹😃👍
Thank you so much, Clyde 😊 Yeah is shame that Euphorbia turned that way, was a lovely looking compact plant when I first got it. Good tip about the old dried stems should be taken off because of mealies, will snip those off today 👍🏻 I did have some of the Euphorbia on the other end of shelf earlier in the year but had to move those to the shadier end because they were turning purple with stress, I should have left the inermis there haha. Strangely the Copiapoa indoors have done well, only the tenuissima stretched a bit over the winter time. The Sulcos on the other hand could have done with more sunlight, those plants I’ve found are very light hungry. Even the big clump I have isn’t as round and compact as it was when I first got it. Thank you for watching and commenting as always my friend, have a wonderful day and weekend from Edith & myself to you and Deb 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Hi Daz, I like to make a request. Your plants always look so perfect, we'd like to know how you got them that way, you know, share some of your mistakes and what you learned from them. Share your successes and how you accomplished it. Share how you get your cacti to bloom, how you fertilize them. I love your tours but I'd also like to learn how you got your plants to look so perfect.
Thank you 😊 Oh trust me they’re not all perfect. It’s very hard to grow a plant blemish free. But I’ll certainly be doing videos on those things this year. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜
Been waiting for this video! I like seeing your collection outside. Many have grown a lot. Nice to see some of the cacti that I sent you are still alive. ☺️ Darn those spider mites! You have some nice big clumps there. I love your Bombycina clump. 🥰 Great tour! Looking forward to the next ones.
Thank you so much, Ana 😊 Yeah the ones you sent are doing well, especially the Echinopsis, really hope they bloom next year 😁 Yeah spider mites have been a pain for me this year, even on the plants indoors and even had some in the grow tent 😡 That bombycina clump will need repotting next year, not looking forward to that haha. Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Ana. Have a wonderful day and weekend from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜☕️

Thank you so much, David 😊 Yeah I love Ferocactus, especially the strongly spined and coloured ones. Amazing collection!! BTW, I asked about that collumnar one in the back at 1:34 a while back and I have the same plant and I am pretty sure I found the ID, I believe it is a Cereus jamacaru (the species seems very varied in form)
Lovely! How do you look after your cactus’ in winter. Do you bring them indoors? At the moment I have mine in the greenhouse. I’m planning to use a heater to overwinter and keep plants from frost will they be okay? I also have fleece cloth to put over them
The more cold sensitive ones will be brought indoors to overwinter. I’ll only leave ones that can take below 0c in the greenhouse but I’ll still insulate the inside with bubblewrap and use fleece as well. A heater is good to use but just make sure the plants you leave in the greenhouse can still take low temperatures. Thank you for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜
@@Cactimania it’s my first winter on caring for cactus. @@maritesdevera3310 some of those you have can take pretty low temperatures. I don’t want to say for sure they’ll be fine being in a greenhouse over winter just in case they’re not.
