i think the written pattern is a bit confusing to some so i simplified it, hope this helps some people:
round 1: magic circle, ch 3, 10 dc, sl st
round 2: sl st new color, (ch 2, 2 HDC), (2 HDC all around), sl st
round 3: (ch 3, DC, TR), (TR, DTR, TR), (TR, DC), sl st, [(DC, TR), (TR, DTR, TR), (TR, DC), sl st] x4
round 4: sl st into the DTR or the highest point of the petal, (ch 1, sc), [(ESC, HDC, DC, ETR, DC, HDC, ESC, sc)] x 5 ends with ESC
round 5: sl st into the first sc from the last round, ch 3, [(3 edc, ch 2, 3 EDC), (DC, DC, HDC, HDC, sc, HDC, HDC, DC, DC)] x 5

it turned out beautifully but good heavens i was SWEATING trying to keep up with the speed of this tutorial. and the written pattern is in paragraph form. again, beautiful end product, but there were a few times where i almost quit on it.

Thank you for your video!! It was very helpful! I did my granny square and I would like to make bags or a cardigan. This is not beginner friendly thats why I loved it so much . It was a challenge for sure but I enjoyed it!

2nd petal: same stitch double crochet, same stitch treble crochet,
next stitch treble crochet, same stitch double treble crochet, same stitch treble crochet
Next stitch treble crochet, same stitch double crochet
Next stitch slip stitch.
Round 4:
1st part:
1.chain 1, same stitch single crochet,
2.Next stitch extended single crochet,
3.Next stitch half double crochet
4.Next stitch double crochet
5.Next stitch extended treble crochet
2nd part:
1. Next stitch double crochet
2. Next stitch half double crochet
3. Next stitch extended single crochet
4. Next stitch single crochet
3rd part : repeat the same steps from part 1 just without the chain 1.
Round 5:
Corner:
1. Same stitch 3 extended double crochets
2. Chain 1
3. Same stitch 3 extended double crochets
The rest of round 5:
1. Next stitch Double crochet

The very last round is hard to follow since you don't go all the way around the square. I'm not picking up on the pattern of where to put half double crochet vs. double vs. single

I had the same problem, especially in the last row of chains, I was completely lost with the stitches. Maybe it would have been good to have written the number of points in the caption.
