Murdered: Soul Suspect is an action-adventure video game, developed by Airtight Games and published by Square Enix. Murdered: Soul Suspect is available for PS4, PC, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. The events of the game are set in Salem, Massachusetts, and focus on Detective Ronan O'Connor, who is slain by a brutal and relentless killer. Ronan returns as a ghost, and will not rest in peace until he solves his own murder by using his ghostly powers, and at the same time combat demonic creatures who wish to eat his soul. Along the way to finding his killer, Ronan is also helped by Joy, a girl who not only witnessed Ronan's death, but can also see and speak to ghosts (including Ronan), a trait she inherited from her missing mother, a contracted psychic. When Ronan O'Connor, a detective with a checkered past, gets caught up in a burglary, his life is brought to an untimely end by a brutal and relentless killer. Shocked to find himself in the afterlife, his only escape from the limbo world of Dusk is to uncover the truth behind his killer, track him down and bring him to justice using new-found supernatural abilities. As Ronan, you have freedom to explore the town of Salem: its wooden houses, narrow streets, Gothic churches, and mental asylum for clues. Battle demonic spirits to save your soul and uncover the shocking revelations about who is responsible for your death.

The killer is no one but rex but he was possessed by Abigail Williams So When He was beating Him she was using demonic strength to pick him up and throwing him away more easily

I agree, I like the murder mystery more than the random demons they throw at you in the free roaming section. I don't want action in the game that's not directly connected to the murder mystery.

WFoong98 It's like a point and click adventure game similar to Still Life, Blade Runner and Tex Murphy. LA Noire and Heavy Rain also had an old school vibe when it came its detective gameplay. Besides analyzing some clues I don't really see much similarities to LA Noire and Murdered Soul Suspect.

This game is where I learned that if you're a ghost, you gotta watch out for demons.

Yeah, if you don't go out of your way to talk to all the ghost and get all the collectables you miss out on a lot in this game.
Seriously Brad, you have got to slow down a little bit. I understand you would like to finish the game quickly for everyone and you have other games lined up but in the room you were spinning like a top and flying by clues. More haste is less speed. On another note, I really like what I've seen of the protagonist so far. The flashbacks (backstory), the personality, the voice, and the design.
I heard about this game a while back and was interested (I love murder mysteries!), but I tend to be wary of anything carrying an M rating. I'm happy that there's a playthrough of this - I should have checked for one earlier! Now I can see if it's the kind of violence I can handle.

Oh man! I love a good murder mystery and ghost stories. Square Enix has found a way to come both in the most intelligent and beautiful way. I'm in love.
I really want to watch this series to see what happens next, but I plan on getting this game and don't want to ruin it.
The best part of this game is the main character- his Character Model and Voice Acting are both pretty awesome.

I may be wrong, but I think the mocap actor for this main character is the same for Aiden Pearce in Watch Dogs. Because they have the same face..and voice lol to me they do anyways. Anyone else thinking this?
Never mind.. haha they just look so similar xD they really do. But none are the same. Noam Jenkins does the voice acting for Aiden. Sébastien Rouleau does the motion capture for Aiden. And Jason Brooks plays Ronan.

I think I know the killer....... Its Alex Mercer from prototype. I have two proper reason to say that......first reason is that he's powerful enough to throw a grown up man, around the room with his bare hands and second reason is that the killer and Alex wear the same kind of cloths

Alex is dead, but his body is subject to the virus. So it would likely be the body of Alex that's the killer. His ghost is wandering around trying to "cross over" by finding who shot him... or sighing at what his infected body is running around doing.

I like how they have the demons as actual Spirits. Then the fact that its all happening in the same area as The Living People show's that somebody has done there homework in putting this game together, thats how it really going on in life as we know it. The next world is right next to you, Now!.... Don't get scared lol

Ronan had such a rough life and probably went through all kinds of shit just to get his ass beat, one-sided at that, and murdered like nothing. It sucks surviving through so much just to end so quickly.

I highly recommend Skyrim and Fallout, I've played New Vegas but not 3. NV was pretty good but most people say 3 is better, I wouldn't get COD, so I'd say Skyrim or FA 3, probably Skyrim.

Holy crapola Mr theRedBrad, this game is ridiculously fantastic. I have never seen anything like it. As a huge fan of the Detective Comics I love a good action detection combination which, in my opinion, this game nails. You also gotta love the wit o the protagonist.
