Tech dr the 3rd option u used on the Shield i didnt think you would delve into since people would be concerned on "privacy" for accessing their device without them knowing same case on firestick when you solve it on that device

Hello I follow everthing you said I did the unattend access I put the pass word now every time I start remotely it will ask me if I want anydisk to access information and other thing click start now when I do now I have access but if I shut the tv off and the nvidia shield tv I would have to do it all over again any help thanks

Needs updating as does not explain how to get around the "start recording or casting with AnyDesk?" dialog so cannot do unattended, unless I'm missing something. Otherwise seamless for other purposes.
Hi, running nvidia shield and when i want to set up unattented access i get a promt on the shield asking to grant recording and casting permission - i have to select ok to get access, is there a way to set permission permanent? Regards and thanks for the vid.

@@TechDoctorUK its not as simple as having the AnyDesk apk modded with the permissions unlocked.....only pondering because teamviewer allows remote access on the firestick but only to view the screen yet it cant control the screen as well...do you think if "draw over apps" was possible teamviewer would work as a backup

Hey man. Thanks for this vid, really helpful. However, do you know how to mimic "back" button from the remote on Android? For example, when I go to Nvidia Shield Settings I cannot go one level back. Also, when I try to mount storage you have to type user and password and the keyboard does also not work from Android :( Any advices or what should I change within AD settings?

Hi, TechDoctor greetings from the UK, Great video didn't realise i could access my Shield remotely. I'm using my iPhone to connect to Shield TV, everything connects and works except fo 2 things. 1) I cannot get my touch commands on iPhone to work remotely and 2) even though i've set up unattended access the shield comes up with a warning pop-up, which kinda defeats the objective. Any suggestions or help with my issues would be appreciated.

I fixed the pop up thing about recording but still no control from iphone. Look up opp apps and shizuku to get passed the pop ups.

Hi tech doc, unrelated but I bought a 4k stick about 6 Mos. ago, it's now fd up and returning it soon. Bought it on sale for about half price from ad on fb, some comments were spot on about the apparent chance I was taking. Have you heard about this before from other buyers?
A 4K Firestick is a very capable streaming device. Not sure what condition yours was in. Was it definitely the 4K firestick ? Amazon still sell the 2nd generation firestick
I love the 4k stick. They are sending a replacement. I had a 2nd Gen firestick before. I'm definitely a fan of the 4k stick, it's by far the best out there in its price range. Anyway, cheers Doc!

I just received my new iPhone 15 (iOS 17.0.3) and connected it to the LG 24'' 4K UltraFine and to LG 32UL950-W displays using the original cable. The iPhone immediately beeped and began charging, but there was no image on any displays. I use the cable and this display LG 24 Ultrafine with my MacBook daily.

I'm sorry to pick it back on my last question what I'm trying to do is be able to watch my Nvidia shield from anywhere in the world with sound, is that the same as being able to control it? I'm thinking it is but just want to make sure there's sound with it. Would love to watch some of my videos away, sometimes I can't take the shield with me.
Seems I can't do unattended always prompts for "start recording or casting with anydesk" and I have to hit start now to get into anydesk - message on anydesk is "waiting for image" not sure how to get around this for truly unattended from my PC to nvidia shield?
Why don't you install Chrome or Firefox or both on your Nivida Shield Pro. I have they both work awesome on my Nivida Shield 2019.

Bring up the special keyboard (which has all the functions keys / windows / CTRL keys etc.) On the top left of that you will see an icon for HOME / BACK / Recent

When I try to remote into my Shield from AnyDesk there's a pop-up window on the TV needing me to click "Allow." I set up unattended access and added a password (which I'm asked for when trying to connect). But I'm not at home to click the "Allow" button. I see it because I have my dog cam in the room and can see the TV. I didn't see any further unattended options in the settings.
Does anyone know how to control the volume or power with the app? Is this possible with the FireTV app?

Mine says "waiting for image" who else has experienced this? I have tried numerous solutions but nothing has worked.
Installed the wolf launcher just for this, unfortunately, I see the image but can't get gain remote control. Not on anydesk nor on teamviewer... and I've uninstalled, retried, gave all possible permissions... just out of luck

I want to be able to access apps on my Shield from another Android TV. For some reason, the app developer charges additional fees for additional TV's so I want to be able to use the video app that is installed on my shield but watch it in my bedroom or office. Will this setup work if I install the Anydesk and plug in on my shield, change the launcher on my shield then also install another version of Anydesk on my other Android TV's so that I can remotely access the app on my shield and watch the videos in my bedroom ? If so, which app do I need for those other TV's ?

The issue is if just on Firestick you can't go to accessibility settings to allow the plug in to work meaning you can't take control remotely - only see the screen - please advise?

Nothing on my site requires any payment or credit card info. Everything is 100% FREE. I suspect you have clicked on an advert.

I have the same problem, cursor moves but cant click anything.
@@Belzbub we need to instal the plugin from the play store and after that we need to activate all options like on this video + with debug on we need to write an command (check anydesk website -> there you have more info about that)

@@petryrety thank you, I resolved this issue thanks to your comment. Yes you need to run a command in the ADB shell and that will get rid of the prompt connecting you instantly.

Hi techdoctor can you find anyway to control the firestick from anywhere in the world simply without having to do to many things
So for example if my grandad is having issues I can sort them from my house without getting him to do to much his end to get it to work
If there is a simple method that allows the control of another fire stick from anywhere without having to allow stuff on routers etc
Please make a video for that as that would be wonderful and I would really appreciate it and I'm sure others would as well

Yes, I am putting the finishing touches to the Firestick process. It requires some modifications due to the strict nature of FireOS
