Don't ever apologize for how long you spend finding your colors - that's what I come here to learn. The use of white to adjust the tint of your hues was a fantastic lesson today and will be stored away in the memory banks for future consideration. 🤙
And yes mid-40's is not the most comfortable temp to work in, at all! I was thinking ribbon tail worm, so I'll take partial credit for the guess. 😆
(I've been trying to figure a way to get you some drumsticks, but I don't know your stick preference, or how to ship to you. Felt it was good way for an old musician to thank a younger one for all the lessons in the "new" craft.)

I learned a ton from this video about adding flake when the color is thick. I had a problem like that this week with a remelt black color that I was doing, it just sucked up the flake and I didn’t understand what happened but now I know. Thanks for putting out the videos

I run a bowling proshop and mix resin plug to fill old holes so I can redrill a ball. I have to add at least 2 drops of white to every color so that it's opaque and seems solid within the ball, otherwise it just looks like stained glass. Took a long time to learn how to mix colors properly for that purpose.

Brown is a extremely good color for fishing lures, super underrated. Brown the color I caught the most fish on 2021. More brown baits to the ppl. good job man!.

The craws in my creeks in Sw Pa look almost the exact same colors as your baits u just made up blue and brown. But they have a bit of orange in the middle of the top of their back over the brown. Kinda like if u did a skin pour where u dump the excess out but u would only leave the orange in the thorax then brown in middle and blue on bottom

I have no idea if this is safe or if it would even work but with someone else's help, you should try to blend two blending blocks into 1 blending block so you create a 4-6 color lure.

You should do a bullfrog color match on creature baits and maybe even the frogs.
I actually have a video doing a triple laminate bullfrog color with my custom frog mold
Here on Toledo bend we Call them yellow bass or bar fish white bass is a sand bass either way those look good

i used white one time i care to never use it again but i do keep it in the color wheel it's so difficult to work with

Anyone know if 1gallon dead on plastic “black bucket” swim bait blend actually comes in a white jug? Just bought my first jug of plastisol to get started and I’m a bit confused cuz I thought white bucket was floating blend. I reached out to dead on but haven’t heard back yet.

Hey man sorry I know I've been asking questions a lot but I have another one for you, so I made a 5 cavity plaster mold for some small ice fishing jigs and sometimes the tails don't fully inject, do I need some sort of a breather hole in my molds ?
Yes generally you need air vents at the extremities
