Kingdom of heaven, Gladiator and The last samurai are the holy trinity of blockbuster historic movies. I can infinitely rewatch these movies.

When Saladin repeats his name it has a double impact. The first is who he is, the second is what his name means. It translates to “righteousness of religion”. And damn if that isn’t powerful
as a Christian I have nothing but love and respect for Muslims. Salam alaikum to all Muslims.
One of the most beautiful lines in my opinion is when he said “I am not those men.” He did not say “I am not Christian.” And paint his enemies with the same stroke. To me it seems that he realizes all sides of these wars are capable of both good and evil.
“When you stand before God, you cannot say, "But I was told by others to do thus." Or that, "Virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice. Remember that.” Awesome for sharing this great work 👍
The directors cut of Kingdom of Heaven is such an underrated film. Fantastic video!

People dont acknowledge how good 2000s were for movies. Every genre from epic war, historic, comedy, romantic, superhero were absolute perfect in 2000s

By far and away the best role Orlando Bloom ever played. He needs to make more of these types of movies.
Director's Cut is an absolutely underrated and overlooked film - a timeless classic. This is one of the first movies I will sit down with my son to watch when he comes of age.
And hundreds of years later that piece of land is still in turmoil.
“We fight over an offense that we did not give…against those who were not alive to be offended.” This was a resounding yet frighteningly familiar quote that relates to every war that humanity has engaged in its history. The sanctity of life is a value shared by Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Yet, the followers of these religions always forget that value when it’s convenient or fashionable to forget.
