What's your opinion on the West's perception of Xinjiang? In my eyes, this video says it all... how could there possibly be genocide occurring in the region?
The end of Ramadan used to look very different before 2014. The whole plaza in front of the mosques would be filled with activity and dancers. Now it's tourists surrounding a relatively small group of dances.
@@sabinereynaudsf The New Year celebration look very different before 2000. The whole Shaolin temple would be filled with preyers. Now it's foreigners learning Kongfu in the temple, tourists bringing their children to admire the great culture, along brought local economy boosts. So? What is your point??? Culture and religion are always fluid, flourish through time, communication, and modernization. They are never supposed to be a rigid previlege, reserved to certain group of people, or frozen at a certain year.
@@sabinereynaudsf Btw, oversea "Real Uyghurs" told us that they Uyghurs never dance except private weddings. So the large dance events are all CCP's lies, and false images forced onto their Uyghur ethnicity...Now you blame CCP again when seeing less dancers. You guys are so hard to please aren't you? Piece of advice: why don't you China bashers unify your agenda first?!

there isn't any. But western media is making it out to be with nefarious intentions and unscrupulous editing.
