Since you mentioned the Kashgar Mosque, there are many things. In 2014, the mosque imam was KL at the gate by three Uighurs.Once in a Kashgar street shop, two strangers, one buying alcohol, the other accusing him of religion then KL him. some uncertified religious leaders leads two dozen people to each house, supervising your daily worship on time.More women in buka on the street.More and more like Afghanistan.Glad to see Kashgar as it is now.Uighurs people prefer to live like this

It seems that you have made a lot of preparations for your visit to Kashgar and Xinjiang. I'm sure you also know that ten years ago, right in front of this mosque, Jume Tahir was brutally assassinated by terrorists. Ten years later, locals live here at ease, outsiders travel here safely, it is estimated that there will be a great sense of contrast. Beijing's governance of Xinjiang may not be perfect, but it is effective, and the peace is worth cherishing. Some things may happen in the future, but let's not forget what we really want. In recent days, BBC has started to denigrate Xinjiang cotton and Xinjiang tomatoes again. Thank you for showing the real side of Xinjiang to the world.

Well, Manchus are nomadic people, it not only conquered China but also Xinjiang and the Qing Emperors adopted Han Chinese language and culture during its 268 year rule in China. After the fall of Qing Dynasty the revolutionists led by Dr Sun Yat-Sen established Republic of China (ROC) in 1912, which inherited the rule in Xinjiang. And the ROC lost the Civil War to the communists and the government fled to Taiwan in 1949, the CCP established the new government of PRC and inherited the rule of Xinjiang.
