- Hope you enjoy the video! I like to set up boards a bit different from most others. Some like it, but I get lots of hate because of this. To each their own. I like what I like. They are absolutely gorgeous! I love complete boards from the '80s they remind me of my childhood. Beautiful collection sir 👍 That Guerrero deck is the most badass deck ever made!!! That graphic is amazing 🤪
Thank you so much for the kind words and comments! I’ll be posting a video soon showing the updated collection of completes. I’ve added a few during lockdown. The Guerrero is my all time favorite graphic and color-way. I also have a Real Guerrero Butterknife foil edition in black and silver that I’ll be showcasing in the near future. Great collection!! Powell is my favorite board till' this day. I ALWAYS felt they had the BEST graphics and we're WELL crafted QUALITY boards!! LOVE Indy's too..just wanna' ty for sharing and taking me back in time!!🤙🤙

Love these boards and the set-ups! I've got a little collection as well. My driveway & street are quite rough too, so I have skid plates and soft wheels on almost all of my boards. Thanks for sharing!

@@Daddy_Reissues wow that’a a long time I got a black nose bone, white ribs, blue nose bone, a blue lapper, and some bones threes on my lance mountain.
@@kagetupa701 that’s the way to do it! These old school boards are amazing to ride, but I want mine to stick around for as long as possible. I’ve also noticed that decks with rails, tail, and more seem to keep from splitting and twisting as much.
Yeah I have that one it’s for like cruising around and being a tank but I also love to skate the Steve cab red dragon with white g bones and black ribs.
Had a Welinder street style with tracker 6 track ultra lights, NMB bearings on slime ball 93's.

I haven’t seen a lapper since ‘86. I think you should have one go on the complete Guerrero.
That would look right, especially for the shape of the board. I had this same colorway back in the eighties but the shape and concave were more like the Lance Mountain Future Primitive deck. Great comment!

Much appreciated! I’ve got a mix of different trucks. The Gullwing Pro III trucks were reissued a few years back and I grabbed them while they were still cheap. I’ve seen black, blue and black, and raw recently fro sale on eBay. I’ve gotten a few set there as well as local skate shops that I check regularly. I’ve also been experimenting with some of the cheaper trucks and have had some descent results. Core trucks a and Havoc trucks are surprisingly durable and lightweight.

Thanks for your question! There are two different sets, on the black and red Ripper I have
Powell Peralta G-Bones 64mm 97a, and on the pink and black Ripper I have Powell Peralta Rat Bones 60mm 85a. If you have any other questions let me know
How long do these last without tail guards?
Great question! They don’t last long for me, but I ride really rough terrain and I use the tail a lot for stopping and popping. Usually I get razor tail after a day or two of riding. Tail guards seem to last about six months before being too far worn to continue using.
Steve Steadham seems to be missing. Not complete.

Too bad they’re re-issues. Those cost a fortune. Skateboards should be affordable for everyone. These are rich kid boards.

Just grabbed that series 15 Lance Mountain deck. Can’t decide if I want to put deck rails/tail/noseguard on it. How do you feel about them? How does the weight effect your riding? Do you think that the tail and noseguard protect the board well enough?
Thank you; I can’t wait to set mine up too! Most of the parts i’ve used don’t seem to make a big difference on the weight or ride to me, but I’m a large guy so it may be different for you. It takes some getting use to, especially the tailbone. The sex bolts used for the nose guard may do more to protect the deck than the actual nose guard itself. The bolts tend to hold the ply together if you lose control and slam into a curb or a wall.
