Berry Global, recipient of grant funding through UKRI’s Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging (SSPP) Challenge, delivered by Innovate UK, talk about their new recycling plant in Leamington and what the SSPP support has allowed them to achieve.
The Berry Circular Polymers plant is the first closed-loop recycling process for polypropylene packaging waste from UK households, turning it back into high quality recyclate that can be used in new food packaging.
