- This is my video about one of my favorite places if not my favorite place to be in Nevada. When I'm not out exploring I am usually having a beer in Virginia City.
Please leave a comment if you want to add any more historical stories. I honestly could probably do a video on every building here. Also, leave a comment if my historical facts are off. Virginia City is known as one of the last living ghost towns and the most haunted place in America. Ghost hunters from all over the world come to Virginia city for its Rich history and ghost stories and in this video i cover just a few.
Plottwist.... old guy in The Crypt was a ghost 👻 😱☠️
Haha 😂
@BackwoodsBeastTV ... I've been to Virginia City several times but only during the day. Now I'm curious about an overnight stay at one of the hotels. Hmm 🤔
I've been there many times. I love it! There's lots of Clampers there, too! Satisfactory!
So cool im going on a road trip here in a few weeks
Very good look on local history. Thanks for sharing.
Super rad little history lesson!! There are soooo many stories up there; you do an in-depth one like every month!
Yeah I was thinking the same thing
Good video. The guy who was talking to you in the crypt might’ve sounded a little kooky, but he was making some true points. The story about Julia being buried in the wall is a long rumored final resting spot along the locals. I personally believe it to be true. The official story is that she was buried out on Flowery Hill in the Pioneer Cemetery because she wasn’t allowed to be buried among the “civilized people” of town. The locals’ story says that the mortician was infatuated with her and couldn’t bring himself to let her be buried outside of town, so he packed her coffin with rocks/sand/etc, and send it on its way. Meanwhile, he put her in the wall down in the basement so she’d never be far away. The mortician was located in what is now the Virginia City Cigar and Bar.
The US government used to buy silver at a set price. Which kept silver mining profitable. As long as the mining and mill costs were less. But the price of silver dropped, the mines played out, and other silver mining replaced the Comstock.
Just subbed, Appreciate the Content Brother, your uploads are Top Quality.!! 👍.
Thanks man, I’m doing my best and (very) slowly getting better haha editing is the least fun part of making the adventures
very vague and surface based.
Just making a video on the fly man, thanks for watching
Maybe you haven’t tried to dig in frozen ground in Virginia City.
Maybe I have…
@@JohnExploresEverything they don’t try without machinery. 65 years ago they didn’t have the machinery.
I’ve spent a lot of time in Virginia. I’ve never had any experiences anywhere in the city. I think it’s a bunch of hype.
Maybe, but maybe not.
Oh it’s not hype
@@debrajacobi5184 and how do you know?
@@frankmarter6845 People with the gift can feel it.
The story about bodies being kept in The Crypt over winter has to be balderdash. Makes no sense at all.
Lame
Thanks
@BackwoodsBeastTV He has a closed mind.
@@kathleenevans1201he has a closed mind is funny talking about a whole town of kkk members
Racist city boycott 🎉
Because 4 people said something racist you’re going to boycott an entire town? Ok buddy.
@@JohnExploresEverything 4 people but yet everyone in that town is part of a old kkk clan and I have a proof so you wonder why they are losing all there followers and business by next year that whole town will be dead
🤦♂️ most haunted. What a wackadoo
😂
