At the beginning i was like ok that pine tree in the pyrenees will make it impossible for the orange team to win, especially having both blues attacking from the north and the east. Then i jumped straight to the ending. And then I watched the entire thing from the beginning
Actually that probably made it easier since it's a very small area to defend, and once a marble makes it through it's basically trapped there which is good because then it can reap havoc on the rest of europe without having to defend their capital. Also once it made it out of iberia it's trapped in a very small area which makes its attacks much more efficient

Come on red! I haven’t watched the vid yet but ik it will be amazing! Second place I’ll take it. The reason behind my choice was the amount of free space near them and how easy it will be for them to grab bases. And yes ik red got second lol
Some countries were just at a disadvantage from the start. Blue had a small territory to begin with, and all pathways to and from blue were 1 tile wide, making it difficult to get out and attack, and then difficult to get back in and defend. Several countries, like yellow and purple, are completely surrounded. Black was surrounded by trees, making it almost impossible to make real progress. While defensible, the forest trapped any marbles that happened to go in. Several pathways were hard to get in/out because of tree placements, while others just trapped marbles completely. It was still a good watch though.
It would be better if they didn't just disappear when their origin capitals are destroyed. They're still there, they'rte already settled somewhere else, let's see how peoples move from one place to another when pushed away by other peoples just like it happened in real life.
Nevermind, it's already simulated by conquering other bases. Red didn't end where they started. If it wasn't the base mechanic, people's would never disappear from dominating territory.

This just gave me an app idea! It's divergent, but I'd needed to see this to get to that.
Man I was rooting for yellow from the first minute. I was literally so scared when they struggled with cyan😭
Some countries were just at a disadvantage from the start. Blue had a small territory to begin with, and all pathways to and from blue were 1 tile wide, making it difficult to get out and attack, and then difficult to get back in and defend. Several countries, like yellow and purple, are completely surrounded. Black was surrounded by trees, making it almost impossible to make real progress. While defensible, the forest trapped any marbles that happened to go in. Several pathways were hard to get in/out because of tree placements, while others just trapped marbles completely. It was still a good watch though.
