Only reason I didn’t buy the Asus Rog Ally is because of the issues with the device burning SD cards in the slot. The company was even compensating owners for the defect. I bought the Legion Go instead. It’s great! 💯🔥🔥🔥

I have been using Rog Ally sice day one and bought a legion go yesterday. The first day use experience, I would like to ask for help about the following: 1) the Rog Ally can use the right joy stick and RB + RT as mouse, which is very comfortable for desktop using. Is there any way on legion go ? I know there is a touch pad but could find any key for left and right click. and I don't really feel like to remove the joy stick for FPS mode every time I go through updates etc before gaming. 2) Is it possible to reposition the frame monitor ? 3) Rog Ally can remember your TDP preset for different game , on battery and pluged. Even the manuall mode can switch between different TDP when on battery and pluged. Possible to do this on the Legion go ?
Lol just got mine last night. Can't wait to check out all the games today. I have always been a console guy. The Lenovo is my gateway into pc gaming as a whole. I'm not going to know where to start deciding what games to play. My brother just got some gaming laptop of some sort can't wait to talk pc specs with him.
I’ve had it for 3 months I almost sold it once so glad I didn’t this thing I take with me on trips everywhere. Xbox remote play ps5 remote play and also games natively. To me this is thee best handheld hands down.💪💪💪💪
Initially I wanted the ROG Ally when I saw it on display at best buy. After researching into it, I came across the Legion Go and bought it impulsively lol. After using the legion for 2 weeks, i went to best buy again to get a feel of the ally and thank God I took the chance on the Legion. Personally the screen size difference was so drastic in the feel. Im very happy with my Legion Go purchase ❤
I got mine almost a week ago and haven’t had ANY issues at all. Playing gta v, black ops 3, and I preordered ghost or Tsushima. Been getting decent battery life as well.
your delivery, describing the product overall presentation pretty good. but 3 years from now innovation from these tech companies will be a lot better especially the fan noise and vrr being available
I bought the 1Tb version at Best Buy a few days ago ($699) + $79 1 yr warranty. I returned it today. Here’s why: while I loved the device, I decided the extra cost for the 1Tb was not worth it for me. (I have an external 2Tb SSD drive). And ordered the 512Gb model on Amazon refurbished for $579. With a 2 year warranty (Best buy was only 1 year) for $65. Great device!! Hope you love it like I do. And worth considering Amazon over Best Buy if you want to save some $$$.

I have a Steam Deck but certainly appreciate this device. Windows 11 may be fiddly for lots of people, but like they don't have to fiddle with Steam Decks desktop mode at times.
For anyone into CRPGs that don't have controller support (Dragon Age 1 & 2, Pillars of Eternity 1 & 2, Arcanum, etc...), the Legion Go is perfect. EDIT: Also, CJ, your videos are amazing!
I have had steam deck then went to the rog ally then the legion go the 8.8inch screen is the deal breaker once you use that screen there's no going back imo
From my experience with all three I'm on team Deck and Ally. I've certainly thought about trying the Go again but I want the controllers to be shrunk in bulkiness. I also don't like the back buttons. Hopefully new controllers come from Lenovo as it has the worst feeling back buttons. Also a better d-pad would be very nice
