Faith tended to do a lot of the characters that Janet Brown did, but Janet was a whole lot more successful in pulling them off accurately. Still watched the series at the time and would like to see it again!
Being with her is life threatening out in public you would have to have a masters degree in marshal arts to keep them safe from the men and in doing so protect her ❤
@@SuperFerdie1965 Angela Thorne on the stage in Anyone For Dennis? and Steve Nallon didn't do Maggie on tv until Spitting Image started in around 1984. The Faith Brown show is from about 1980. Mike Yarwood used Brown for Maggie from 1978 when she guested on his Christmas 'Parkinson' sketch.
Tacky titles lol! A lot of her impressions and even singing sound the same cos of that kind of elongated raspy thing she does with her voice. These kind of shows were popular at the time, but so dated and old hat now.

Gladys Knight , rightly called the Empresses of soul , one of the all time great singers , who deserves far more credit , unforgetable vocalist .
A great star and an incredible Norma Desmond in Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard. The one and only Faith Brown.
I had forgotten...Faith Brown was a very beautiful and sexy lady...and talented!
Such a beautiful talented lady ❤
Great much better than today’s rubbish

I guess this is the Amyl nitrite version of Baby....
Pam ayres and her naughty poems.
Obviously this was before her implants.
Fit lady but terrible Thatcher impression.
Well at that time, Janet Brown had the monopoly on Maggie.

Janet Brown was the best known Thatcher impersonator but she didn't have a monopoly. That's my point. Denis by the way, not Dennis.

Never seen FB so covered up :). A fair entertainer, but a club-land singer, not in the same class as someone like Dusty Springfield

About the oldest of hats.
2 words Les Dennis .... every impression sounded the same .... utter crap
@@stevenwilliams192He did that bird off Coronation Street. Badly. His one ‘impersonation’.
