Great video Kevin and JL. Really enjoyed the apartment segment. I had lunch at Bahia Restaurant about 3 weeks ago with the couple (I introduced you to) that owns 1888 Beach property. I totally agree it’s a great place to eat.
Wow!! Both yours and hers look delicious.. me and my girl will be eating at that restaurant while we are checking out dumaguete.. thanks to you and Jenna Lyn for showing us some great places to eat👍👍🍺🍻🇺🇸😎
Good video, the restaurant and the apartment look quite good. I noticed that there was mineral water on the menu, what kind of mineral water is available there. Are there local springs that bottle water ?
this was a great review of that apartment i like the size and 2 1/2 baths is awesome. i like beef bourguignon also and your bacon cheeseburger looked good kevin. what a shame jennalyn doesn`t have a twin and her crinkled nose is so cute after that sip
I move into my Bacong townhouse next week, my new place is close to the beach it is a 2 bed 1 bath for 22k a month and the best thing about it is that it has a backup generator. No more brownouts for me!
30,000 pesos is very negotiable all the way down to 20,000 in my book.. if itnwould have had a 4-burner stove with a oven and a few more amenities I would have paid the 30k with no problem.. after I arrive I am sure that Alma will find what I want for the price I want.. thanks to you all for showing the rentals because I do love looking..👍👍🍺🍻🇺🇸😎👙😁
The apartment is a great choice. Did it have an area outside for a dirty kitchen besides the parking? The indoor counter space works well and I can always set up a burner inside but I just like having the outside advantage. Did not remember much around the water tank. Very central location with beach and quiet; it may be my backup location if the 1 bedroom in your compound is taken. The restaurant was great but northpoint is too far for a regular venue... and Jennalyn's face at the end was hilarious!
Not many cars actually. What I would recommend is choosing the back bedroom. There won’t be any street noise, and another thing that I noticed was the front bedroom had skylights. Those are facing NNE….the sunrise is gonna wake you up if you’re a light sleeper…30K…BUT….EVERYTHING is negotiable in the Philippines 😉
Great video l just understand why they build the water they do especially the bath room to small and you shouldn't have to negotiate on a something to cook and bake food on😢
Negros Oriental RARELY feels any affects from typhoons. We are shielded by Leyte, Cebu, Bohol, Panglao, and Siquijor……..it’s kind of like how Huntsville Alabama would be affected if a hurricane hit Gulf Shores or Mobile Alabama….just a lot of rain
Hmmm….🤔 I don’t know when a house sells or rents. I just film, I am not part of broker. I do know what you mean though, there are some crazy prices on some of these properties….BUT….this is the Dumaguete area, and we may have more expats per capita than any other city…..sans🤔Angeles City with the base there
Kevin, something needs to change on how you do these apartment tours. I usually miss half the tour watching Jenalyn walking around instead of looking at the apartment! On second thought, these tours are perfect... please don't change a thing! 😂
Unfortunately 30K pesos is not a lot in the Dumaguete area. Each time someone moves out, it goes up more. There are SOOO many foreigners in the area that it is difficult to find decent places under 25K now
That depends on how good you are at investing money. I make a GREAT living selling weekly stock options. I am currently considering 3000 M2 on Siquijor @ 3000 PHP. The land would cost 9 million PHP. If I built a home, it probably be 9-12 million PHP. That’s a minimum of $306,000 USD. On a crappy week, I make 1%on my money. $306,000x.01= $3,060….x52 weeks=$159,120…subtract 30% for short term capital gains taxes=$111,384….divide by 12 months=$9,282 USD/month. My rent for my 2 BR 2 BATH beachfront home is 30K PHP. With today’s conversion of 58.5 PHP/USD that is $513 USD/month. I am making $9K/month MINIMUM and just have to subtract $513 giving me a profit of over $8K/month IS A NO BRAINER!!!!!!!!!! I can always move if I don’t like my situation….YOU are stuck in a house, that you don’t even own the land!!!! Like I said, if you suck at money management, and want to reduce your expenses to make your social security payment last….go ahead. I choose to use the money to make money….my good friends, who have the channel “Rose in the Philippines” went that route and are very happy with the decision. The difference between Tim and most expats is Tim is worth $5 million
I won't embarrass you by telling you my net worth. Let's just say that I will never have to apply for the pittance of social security and I easily pay more in taxes than you earn in a year. But hey, we are all small fish in a big pond when compared to Musk, Gates, etc al. Please continue to enjoy the nice Philippines life as I do. Peace.

Thanks as always for watching Billy, and reminding me about 1888. We need to get up to Sibulan, but we are going to be traveling a lot in the next few weeks
Very nice. 7 minutes from the apartment. We will check this out. Your doing a great job with the maps and extra information Kevin and Jennalyn.
I highly recommend it, and there was a pork dish in a sauce that I will try next time 😉
Nice looking place and great location with great storage.
Thanks as always for watching Eric!

Not in the Dumaguete area that I know of

No disrespect but that girl is freaking gorgeous! Nice Apt by the way.
it's very nice, but what about the noise pollution? 25k would be a good price for what you get.. it have no amenitys..

How hard does that apt. get hit by typhoons

All homes that are for sale YOU SHOULD GO BACK and see why they did not sell

Remember that is a lot of money there. Upscale people with money will be fine there for sure. A lot of pecos.

Limoncello
Hahaha YES!!!! Limoncello…..got a BIG bite to it, but it did its job. It definitely left my taste buds in a neutral state 😉
Think this is priced too high. 20k would be acceptable for me. But is what it is.
Renting just throws away your money and enriches your landlord. If you are married to a pinay, you are better off buying a HOUSE, never a condo.
