Thank you guys. Not really sure what the he** is going on except a whole lot of questionable behavior regarding that documentary. I know some Women personally that were interviewed for that documentary that said they felt uncomfortable, it felt like the interviewer was pushing or fishing for some scandalous, negative type information. And when interviewer didn't receive it and instead was only told positive things, she would continue her line of questioning. One of them told me personally it is because of her negative experience with The people involved with this Documentary that she no longer wants to ever do interviews again. She no longer can trust anybody out there wanting to do anything Dlvis related after this. We can thank those behind this documentary for that. That people that cared about Elvis and only had good things to say, say they're done talking to anybody anymore. And to have people like Curry Grant commenting is scraping the bottom of the barrel as far as credible sources. Because they're not credible at all. Same with the other guy that said he tried to tell Elvis it was wrong for him to be dating younger ladies, No he did not. And anybody that believes that is a fool I'm sorry. That same guy that said that had a proclivity himself throughout the years of saying a lot of ridiculous nonsense regarding Elvis, much of which other people that knew Elvis have contradicted and said that this guy was making up. We have to remember that same guy that said that nonsense in this documentary, his own mother was also the one that started the rumors decades ago that Elvis and his mother Gladys had an incestuous relationship. This guy and his own mother thave a proven track record that is very bad among Elvis researchers. And their credibility is in the toilet, so it only makes the people involved in this documentary look Bad, for even giving people like that a voice. He even had a post on his wall where he denied saying anything bad about Elvis. (Which he now has deleted). I have about had it with some of the other ridiculousness coming from people that owed Elvis much more kindness and respect to his memory, than they sometimes give in their interviews. Yes ep wasn't perfect, but guess what, nobody is. But, damn, Some of these people that knew Elvis it's like they have diarrhea of the mouth, and they will say anything even if it's negative in content, because they know it will get tongues wagging get them done attention. They never learned that old saying - "Discretion is the better part of valor" comes to mind here. It is totally unnecessary for anybody that knew him personally to feel the need to Throw more mud on his grave. And let me add this - Kay Wheeler sounded utterly ridiculous. She only made herself look bad .. at least for those of us acquainted with her in the past. Her negative reflections of Elvis in that doc are very questionable. I have a screenshot photograph from her very own Facebook page years ago, where she said Elvis was - "...the perfect gentleman". I don't know why.she chose to take such an opposite stance for her interviews for this, doc. I personally know one of the other women that was in that documentary and she said the same thing I said about Kay. In fact, my friend said she could tell the interviewer was trying to ask inappropriate questions about her & Elvis private intimate times. She told the interviewer she did not think that was an appropriate question, did not appreciate it.. so she refused to answer. She said she could tell the interviewer was fishing for negative scandalous type information, But told her she had nothing bad to say or offer. My friend took the high road. Ms Wheeler did not. Same with a few others that also did not. Shame on those people, and those that put this documentary together Going with the negative sensationalized version of history, when they ignored so many of the other positive stories from other women that should have been included in that documentary ...but weren't suspiciously not. And thank you to the Philo brothers for calling this out
Didn't see the documentaries, but I know if I met Elvis in person I would love to love him unconditionally bc he was a brilliant beautiful man who entertained the world with his talents and that says he loves the people. ELVIS PRESLEY LIFE IS AND WAS HIS AND THE LORD'S BUSINESS.X AND HE DID THAT WELL. I LOVE WATCHING HIM PLAY AND ENTERTAIN. ❤🎉😊
I haven't seen these documentaries so I can't comment on them. The only thing that I can say is that what happens behind closed doors, should stay behind closed doors. Especially intimate moments that should never be exposed to the four winds! Some of those women, just don't understand how lucky and privileged they were to have been part of that man's life. He was and still is history, no one forgets history because you can't cancel it, no matter what you do or say! Long live Elvis and his music! Thanks for this video!
thank you so much Scotty 👌👌It always hurts reading the lies those blobs bring out ever since this beautifull man started his fabulous carrier !! The love and admiration all fans have for him will never vanish !! He was and always will be that amazing talented loving hunk of a man ! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you both! Here in Spain I didn't find that documentary. But I don't need to watch it to know it's bs... For the life of me, I'll never understand the hate and envy towards this man, this human. The ill intentions against someone that has been gone for freaking 46 years already and that did a lot of good...a lot! I've seen lots of interviews of women involved in someway with him and they all were still talking good things about him flashing a smile while remembering their time (whatever brief or longer) with him. And lots of interviews of people working with him, making music, touring...fellow musicians and actors too. None of them had anything bad to say, on the contrary, a consistency of high praise through all these years. It is enough for me. The haters won't change my mind...but they make ugly noise and it's about time they shut up. It is frustrating to say the least. And that's why I thank you both for TCB and make the right noise. Take care!
Haven't seen the documentaries. Why do we want to bring down the best entertainer the world has ever known. He was,he is and always will be the best voice we ever had. Entertainer, voice, charisma, and the most beautiful, handsome man God ever created. Let this glorious man rest in peace. My angel,if I don't see you when I pass then my life has been unhappy. God bless a very beautiful son of God. He was special. He shaped my young life,I am not different, I am you.xx
20 Oct 2023. Thank you Scotty for bringing the truth about this issue. All the women who fell for Elvis loves it and he didn’t force himself to them. God bless you and your family. 🙏🏼❤️
Once again thank you guys for standing up for Elvis. One thing I've learned in my life is lies begets lies and hatred begets hatred. I'd like to know what this woman sought to gain by trashing Elvis. What did he ever do to hurt her ? Well, Elvis is not here, he can't stand up for himself..This is where people like you guys come in. Many thanks for telling it like it is...that being the undeniable truth. ♥ 👏 Scotty, Bless you and Craig. ♥ ~~ Janet in America 🇺🇸
The intimacy of a person shouldn't be touched or exposed in public, even in case of Elvis, privacy should be maintained!!! Good one Scotty, tyvm for showing him this much love & respect👍🏻👑❤
Oh it breaks my heart to see hiim portrayed in this way no one has ever come forward and said he forced himself on them i love elvis presley for everything he did to help people his humanity and compassion to people was and is amazing please leave him to rest peaceful which he so deserves all these people trying to make themselves relevant by bringing elvis down should be deeply ashamed of themselves thank goodness he has people like Craig and Scotty to speak out for him
I think Scott that a person's life is independent of being famous or not! They deserve Respect and Privacy! What I see on some UA-cam channels about Elvis' life is very sad. Many took advantage of his generosity. And there was no one to help him
Hi Scotty ♥ and Craig ♥ I thank you both so very much for this video I watched the full documentary and I felt sick, at some off the things people were saying about our Man. This has made me so happy boys, we can always rely on you to put the record straight. Thank you Scotty ❤and Craig ♥ well done guys xxx 💝
I sat through the whole three stomach churning episodes until the bitter end. It's still on a free to air channel in Australia. In between Nash and Finstad acting like they were professors of psychology, Currie Grant, David Stanley and some very high profile Elvis "women" who surely couldn't have been that naive to not know the slant the show was going to take, the whole program should never have seen the light of day. Sometimes honouring Elvis' legacy feels like shovellng s*** up hill...Thanks guys for your hard work. It's good to have spaces like your UA-cam channel where we can have these conversations.
Thankyou..I don’t care what anyone says this doesn’t show Elvis as the man he was..Some say they enjoyed it..that’s their opinion..what’s to enjoy with some of the comparisons and statements made is beyond me..but hey these are real Elvis fans at the end of the day
THANK YOU! With all my heart, mind and soul. It's especially important because you are in the U.K. where this emerged and is apparently still being shown. So Shearer is actually the director and she says what she put out there is false! People should know that some who were interviewed ADMITTED that they lied. Some of these people have been lying about a variety of Elvis-related subject matter FOR 46 YEARS! Funny to see David Stanley apologize. Since he has so much ELSE to recant and apologize for through the years! There are things in a certain book about Elvis' sexuality that have been proven false via photograph, with individuals who inserted themselves into famous on-stage incidents in the 1950s. I will describe how this Author interviewed by Shearer deliberately manufactured "shock" by using someone who wasn't even present, an individual who passed himself off as someone he was not. The fraud's name is Byron Raphael. He anchors that opinionated Author's book, named after a Sun Records' song. Here's what The Author interviewed for this program concocted for her book using a person who was likely not even there at a faux "shocking" incident onstage in L.A. in 1957. Or was far away from the stage. "Nipper" the plastic RCA dog, for instance, was a 1957 incident DIRECTLY PROVOKED and CONTINUED by manager Col. Tom Parker himself, proven via photograph. Byron Raphael, an alleged "employee" of Parker claimed falsely to have done things that photos show Parker did to try to get his client in trouble with the LAPD! Yeah, Parker did stuff like that for fun and profit. The "incident" itself seems SILLY in 2023, but in 1957, was potentially serious and Parker provoked it without help from anyone. He was laughing as he told Elvis the police wanted to film the next show. Parker was amused. Elvis was scared. Raphael wasn't involved at all. He was likely just some kid who got coffee. The guy is a fraud. Yet The Author believes him (??), and gives him voice throughout the book about Elvis Presley's sexuality. It's egregious. This Author said an even more egregious and false personal opinion in the UK program. Yes, an opinion can be factually untrue, even if it's just her "opinion." This Author has not apologized for what she said, which was despicable. But for the DIRECTOR to then confess that she lied about it all is an outrage! I'm glad she confessed the truth, but it's still a horrible thing to have done in the first place. The motive? GREED! She lied on a dead man to profit from doing so. Then later, felt bad about it and tried to buy back her soul. But well, she feels cleansed now that she told the truth. I think I said enough. You guys are THE BEST! And this was a crucial video. That said, a VERY disingenuous film is premiering in November. I will share now as needed, but it's more important to share WIDELY again in November. EVERYONE, PLEASE SHARE. These two gentlemen have more integrity in their little fingers than all the people involved in this project have collectively. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
These kind of documentaries are flavouring this celebrity profiting western world we are enduring. The legacy of this iconic singer was never fully tarnished by any individual whilst he was alive. So let's do the man a justice, walk to your player and put on one of his songs or a movies and enjoy yourself in what truly matters. Entertainment and pleasure as you sing along, laugh alongside or groan with him..... 🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺
This does truly matter though mate. I agree with your sentiment but I just cannot stomach what’s going on here. We are only a small voice and some may question why we are doing this at all but it’s pretty simple to me, an indifference to this subject can often do more damage than the words of the accusers. I’m gonna come out fighting all the way mate. Thanks for your comment as always😊 ps I’m no implying you are indifferent mate 👍just many are

Dear Scotty and Craig although this documentary Elvis’s Women has not yet been released in the US (where I live) it did appear very briefly all of a sudden on UA-cam but it was called Loving Elvis. It wasn’t up long and was pulled because of copyright issues. However I did watch the 3 episode documentary. Well I couldn’t believe some of the dialogue between the interviewer and the women. One of them Kay Wheeler who was President of his first fan club and a supposed friend of Elvis who he was very kind to I just couldn’t believe what she was saying. As far as I am concerned what happened happened but much of all of what has been said in the last 46 years about Elvis’s love life should have been kept completely private between him and these women. They should have had some class and dignity and especially respect for Elvis. One of the only ladies in his life that truly respected him in life and his untimely death was Ann Margaret she was not going to betray him even in death. Others should have taken a page out of her book. So very sad that people are still trying to sensationalize and make money off of this wonderful kind human being named Elvis Presley.😢❤️
Kay wheeler contradicts herself over the years..we have so much evidence it beggars belief..a dangerous woman to Elvis’ Legacy along with another trash journalist who tbh I can’t even bother mentioning
Kay Wheeler sounded utterly ridiculous.
I agree 100% Ann Margret truly loved him in life and in death by keeping their relationship details PRIVATE! Thank you Scotty and Craig for continuing to bring the truth about Elvis.
I feel Elvis trusted His Pricilla and Linda .. After that he just went into being lonely . But not with friends , just not relationships anymore as deep as he was with Pricilla . Linda too . Ann was his friend . They just knew that was the true bond . I’m guessing . Great video . Would love to see that documentary. Hope all is well Scotty & Craig ❤🙏🏼🤝
I sorry but thank you for bringing this out an well always support Elvis. No he was not perfect no one is but look what he left us with so much Thank you you two
Thank you scotty no one in our Elvis world that still love this man will ever see him brought down Eva 😊looks like they all want to find something and there’s nothing to find so they can all do one 😊❤
Thank you Scotty & Craig 🤝 This was interesting & hits you hard . We will always appreciate you both giving us the best of the best videos on Elvis . They all hit home ever so deeply , Thank God creating such an unique and most remarkable man 🙌🏽We needed an Elvis & we will always keep him on top of the world 🌎 & in our hearts ❤️
Scotty I've seen here in America a couple months ago on UA-cam. It got pulled. It's disgusting. Elvis isn't here to fight back and neither is Lisa Marie to call off these dogs because that's what they are. I've heard awful things being said about what people should have done or would have done to Elvis. Thanks to these aweful stories coming out.
Haven't seen the documentary but it's so bad that all these awful things are being written and said about him and Elvis isn't here to defend himself - I'm sure if Lisa were still here with us she would have something to say about it all - it's all so very sad 😢
Yes, none of this would be happening if Lisa hadn't passed away. She sang "they tried to make you look broken; NOT WHILE I'M LIVING." Unfortunately, a post-surgical complication from a 2019 surgery took her life completely unexpectedly. It did not involve ANY substances whatsoever! Her tox scan was CLEAN. They were at first unaware she had this abdominal surgical procedure, so had to check her medical records to realize the rare complication had happened. Unlike her father and 2nd husband, THERE WERE NO DRUGS INVOLVED WHATSOEVER. I wanted to make that absolutely clear. It's a terrible, horrifying tragedy to have lost Lisa so young. I am not close to being "over it." Don't know if I ever will be. 😭💔
It’s very bad I cried for hours cause I knew it hurt him if he seen these horrible things said! He’s wasn’t perfect he had flaws we all do ! But what entertainer ever gave as much of his time, his kindness , his gifts to see that person smile an happy he gave something too! He was a good humble man! It’s so sad people still pick this man apart ! Bless you Scotty & Craig your good Gentleman too!
The worst part for me was what came out of Nash and Stanley! They just want to destroy ELVIS I think :( xxx Well done - guys! This needs to be said. We must defend ELVIS! He deserves it. TCB
I'm not sure why people are surprised about Alanna Nash, I personally have never understood why so many Elvis fans respect her so much as an author of Elvis' books. The first book I read of her " Baby Let's Play House" made me think that this woman was certainly no fan of Elvis Presley. They say she does a lot of research for her books, and that may be true, but I find that she puts too much of her own opinons, and her own speculations when describing Elvis' behaviours, as if she was some expert psychoanalyst that knows the dark secrets of his mind. She usually ends up judging him in a way that is no very objective at all, and put unfair labels on him, like she did in this documentary.
@@TheEccho agreed been calling her out for a long time, she built a book around the colonel on her belief but with no actual fact ie the murder. This new series is in fact based on the book baby let’s play house. I’ve lost all respect a long time ago. Great points made thank you
Thankyou Craig and Scotty for another amazing video. Such an eye opener. I saw two episodes couldn't watch the third. I felt sick the way they portrayed Elvis. Obviously cutting out the positive in order for the degrading shock tactics. Some of those women and two men should be totally ashamed, money grabbers. I thought Barbara Hearn was genuine and never said a bad word, such a lovely lady. Linda Thompson was decent. But the whole programme was sick. I felt they made Elvis look like a paedophile and even Gladys was portrayed as a groomer for her son. Absolute garbage and damaging to Elvis, never know how they can get away with it. All Elvis' true fans know as a human he made mistakes but we all do, we do know that he was a kind, caring humanitarian and his music touches our souls and helps us in many ways. I can't imagine my life without Elvis and his music. Thank you Craig and Scotty for being there for Elvis. God bless you.
Scotty thank u for this every time I see negative things about Elvis I immediately block that reactor and channel this is so ridiculous. The reason for this is because she heard only wonderful things about a southern gentleman so she started to twist their words around like those scandalous tabloid magazines. She should be sued for misinformation and slander. Elvis was not perfect but he was a kind and gentle man. We STAND by Elvis and are here to defend his name. These reporters and directors insist on portraying him as a groomer and being abusive 🙄 he was not!! Get over it!!
Elvis fans are naturally curious about everything about his life, but to delve into such personal relationships and do it in a malicious manner makes me so angry! All these women were willing participants and I'm sure we're thrilled to be with Elvis, even if it was for one night I'm sure! Leave him alone and let him rest in peace! This new movie "Priscilla" I'm sure will be another hit job! This great man is gone from this earth for 46 years and they're still criticizing him! Grrrrrrr! 🤦♀️
Hi Scotty and Craig. Thank you for this video. I have been an Elvis fan for nearly 50 years. When I was in school in the late 70s and early 80s I caught a lot of flack for being a fan and was on the receiving end of a fair amount of bullying too - not to mention the constant stereotypical negative comments received about Elvis. Unfortunately, we all know about these small minded and ignorant views. However, it is testament to the Man that I never once considered hiding the fact I was a fan and always wanted to talk about Elvis and hoped that people would eventually hear and see what I could. I fear with the forthcoming release in the UK of the new film in January 2024, negativity may again raise its ugly head in the media and press - made worse due to where it is emanating from. We will all have to don our armour again to defend "our boy". I will willingly do this but am sad to have to again. Keep up your excellent work. I really enjoy your output. TCB
Thankyou Kevin..well done fighting the fight.. Yes it is not a nice aspect of being a fan constantly having to defend our boy due to a lot of outrageous behaviour from other quarters..I think because a lot of us feel as deeply as we do that it’s almost as like defending one of your own family.. I’m hoping what you are talkin about doesn’t see another wave of negativity coming his way..he doesn’t deserve that.
Yes, it is like defending your own family. Elvis has been a constant in my life and has never ceased to bring me pleasure and a sense of amazement. He was (and still is) truly awesome. He certainly doesn't deserve another wave of negativity and I hope I am wrong. No one is perfect but when you weigh up his life and achievements he left the world a better place for having been here.@@ScottysElvisPresleyMusicChanel
Just watched this and I've been reading through the comments. I really became an Elvis fan after I saw the movie, after that I read Elvis What Happened then I read Elvis by Albert Goldman, then the book with the Memphis Mafia by Nash. I thought the Nash book was the best where the Memphis Mafia guys stated what happened. I watched this documentary here in Australia and I thought it was pretty good. I knew Elvis had the ladies fawning after him and the books go into detail on that too of course. He was just so original. Am I correct though that he really had no boundaries after the army and his mother died, he seemed to do crazy stuff. Getting a blue light in his car and pulling people over in Memphis as if he's a policeman for one. Someone did that these days they'd be arrested for sure. Looks like I've got lots of videos to go through on your channel lads, I find myself watching so many different channels on Elvis. Someone suggested I read the book Child Bride too about his ex-wife, is that worth reading? I'm not as much into the girlfriends per se.
I saw this series and thought it was pretty interesting and well done. Jackie, Francis, Gloria, Kathy, Priscilla are all 14 and at one time girlfriends of Elvis who is anywhere from 24 on right. It does seem kind of weird in this day and age for sure. But then all big stars have some peculiarities. There lives aren't normal, so why would their actions be normal. Looks like he could do whatever he wanted most of his life too. I didn't think the series was rubbish, but that's just me. I like the whole story, doesn't put me off him.
Well done again Scotty for shining a light on this nonsense proving once again that the truth will always win through..another thing to bring up while we're on the subject, is Alana Nash comment's comparing Elvis to R.kelly,.which should keep her of any Elvis projects in the future.
Guys, I've been an Elvis fan all my life and I saw the documentary. I notice a lot of the usual (put Elvis on a pedestal) fan comments and I hope you're not pushing a narrative that it doesn't matter what Elvis did in life because he was Elvis and we love him, he's not here to defend himself, it was rarely about sex it was about the relationship he was missing from his mother. Scotty Elvis had a proclivity for younger women at times, he absolutely went to the Howard Johnson hotel with young girls at times and we've no reason to disbelieve either of these girls experiences. They were young, younger than they should have been in that environment. Elvis knocked on that young girl's daddy's door and gave a 14 year old Rhysa a new car. Probably out of guilt. I believe David does think Elvis meant to pass that fateful day, and as much as he apologizes now, he's been repeating that story for years. I don't believe it's true personally, but I believe he thinks it is because I think it's embedded in his subconscious mind. Scotty I wouldn't compare Elvis to R Kelly however there has been more than one celebrity who it was found out after passing had some strange proclivities. I believe the secretary he had in Germany Elisabeth Manning, and he did treat her harshly as a young girl, I felt for her hearing her story. Kay Wheeler is a huge Elvis fan, met Elvis multiple times and I don't believe she did anything wrong in that interview other than state things 50 years later of what she experienced. So what! You're also going along with fans attacking Alannah Nash in the comments because what.... you think Baby Lets Play House, The Colonel, Revelations of the Memphis Mafia are crappy books. I've read them all and they all give different insights into the different relationships Elvis had and events that happened by people there at the time. You guys don't hold the responsibility of Elvis' legacy, it stands by itself. So you don't like some of the focusses Alannah has made in her books over the years, ok, you have that right. I happen to know they were all very well researched books. Interviews with the people actually there, who are we to say these are wrong, they are there accounts. All of these women as you have stated, did show their continued love for Elvis. Whatever they say happened is one side of the story, and they're entitled to tell it. It doesn't affect Elvis's legacy and it certainly doesn't need people trying to cover up any of these human traits Elvis had. It's just unnecessary, we as fans should accept these warts and all and stop the idolizing of this very human man. There is so much to like about Elvis and there are parts to dislike too, we don't have to defend it, we just have to process and accept it.
First off the most important part of this video and what you are missing is that there was a deliberate and exaggerated attempt to make Elvis Presley appear far worse than the findings of Barbara Shearers own words. Did that escape you ? What are you missing on this point ? Did you watch the video ? Seriously ! At the end of your comment you say we should except his warts are you then condoning being a fan of a sexual deviant ? That’s just weird, wouldn’t you agree ? Of course if that was true. You’ve been as Elvis Presley fan all your life, yes the same probably as every other commentator on our videos. That I guess is an admission of your knowledge and you know your subject ? Congratulations then we can have an adult conversation on where we differ on this subject, which is ok of course but please be prepared to use citations. Can you remind me of the girls when you mention the Howard Johnson hotel please. I’m not aware of this. Taking girls to a very public place and not in the privacy of his home sounds very careless. Also I sense a degree of patronising within your comments regarding so many things ? I’m not sure for the necessity of that are you ? You imply we wear rose coloured spectacles ? The implication is quite strong here. I really do take exception with you actually pushing your own narrative in implying that we are putting Elvis on a pedestal, or encouraging it. It’s odd the very thing you accuse us of or at least question you are doing in your own way, can you see that ? We have never once implied Elvis was perfect. His failings were his own and he would be the first to admit them. We approach them in an emphatic nature because that is surely the right thing to do ? But I re-emphasise my first point, making an individual out to be far worse than they are just is not right, especially with all the evidence to hand. To choose another route is just wrong. Your comment that we hold ourselves up as having the responsibility of protecting his legacy is very strange. That shows your contempt for what we are trying to achieve here, like what gives us the right ? The same right as anyone else ! The same right as the opinion you hold. Throughout the history of our channel we have tried to approach each and every subject as we see it with truth and empathy, I’m not sure that gives someone the right to say why should we ? it begs the question why shouldn’t we ? I have no idea why you think we see ourselves in that light. We are merely doing what we feel passionate about. We are just a small voice along with some other you-tubers who have chosen to do the same, who feel as strongly. Have you pasted your comments on their videos ? But I will correct you on something, when we see an injustice and we see one here which centres around libel and slander I do think we have the right as fans to question the nature of this, Isn’t that everybody’s right ? Would you like us to refrain and be indifferent ? Well I don’t subscribe to indifference. There is more going on in the making of this programme then perhaps you realise. With two women I know of being extremely upset and aggrieved. In fact disgusted by the finished documentary and more feel the same way, by the insensitive questioning and how it made them feel. Indicating to them an unsavoury agenda. This will come out soon. We hope to have more on this in the coming weeks with the obvious consent of the women. If you wish I can dissect everyone of your points but I’m not sure what the point would be when you make the points you made upon viewing our video
@JohnMcRedmond Elvis DOES belong on a pedestal as high as possible for his artistic legacy. There is no doubt whatsoever. Elvis as a human being was just that - human, like you and I and everyone else. And he was a man, and what a man😊💥. He loved and needed and gave love, lots of it, and not just physically. And to this day there is not a single genuine proof he behaved improperly with underage girls. Scotty and Craig clearly pointed out that this documentary was heavily edited with the purpose of painting a nasty picture of Elvis the man. The fact alone that editing was necessary and only 19 women from 50 were shown should tell us a lot. Don't you think? And don't you as a fan feel the strong need to protect him? By the way, his secretary and girlfriend in Germany was Elisabeth Stefaniak
@@southerngirl9941 I appreciate you replying, it's fine to have him on a pedestal artistically, but that's not what Elvis experienced in life and it's not what goes on today. People expect more of someone on a pedestal than what they might actually be capable of. The result of that is the pressure on the individual to try and be something they're not, Elvis is proof it actually damages them psychologically. I could list many things we've come to know Elvis did that are just insane and no-one else would get away with. Celebrity and putting people on this pedestal does strange often unhealthy things to people. As fans we should respect his position in our eyes as a musical legacy but not then hold him above common expectations as a human being, that being lawfulness and morality.
What happened to Elvis was a result of little accountability. No-one said no! And if they dared say no and were on his payroll they were fired, if they weren't on his payroll, they were simply removed. We should absolutely celebrate all the good, but we shouldn't criticize producers who also then show the other side. This gives us all a more balanced perspective on who the man actually was. I personally appreciate hearing the good with the bad, sometimes the ridiculous and I don't agree with forming a posse criticizing producers/authors/Elvis insiders for daring to tell us about it. Lets not forget, he went from a 24 year old meeting 14 year old Priscilla to a 40 year old meeting a 14 year old Rhysa. She gave her account, it was tearful and heartfelt, he clearly touched her heart. She also let us in to the cocaine use which Sonny had corroborated in an interview many years previous. The myth going around is that their is no way Elvis touched cocaine, in fact yes he did. And.. if anyone dares mention in discussion what Sonny West stated later about it, they are lambasted from Elvis fans who have him on this unhealthy pedestal.
The point of this series was not only to highlight the underage girls of which we now know of 3 who have been public about it, but to highlight that no-one said no to Elvis. He was so revered he could literally get away with whatever he wanted in life, someone would cover it up. And that's important to understand, here was a man so immortalized by his public that he could literally do whatever he wanted. This was David Stanley's point! To your last point, no-one has bothered trying to prove the underage girls, why would they bother, he's gone. So does that mean these girls should not make these claims about what they claim happened in their lives. Imagine if that were the case, how many things we wouldn't have found out later about certain individuals.
This again John has nothing to do with holding Elvis up on a pedestal, though I take your point that is not right and that is something we do not advocate or do on here, it just isn’t healthy. It has nothing to do with the points this video highlighted if it does then show me where ? But it merely posed some important observations in regards to this production and the consequent beliefs of the director and her comments made in an interview that we believe was not the flavour of the docuseries. Certainly the headlines coming out since regarding Elvis being a groomer, pedophile and sexual abuser are driven by this production, that is a fact, if you choose not to believe that than more fuel has been added to the fire that is for sure. When the author of the book that that this expose is based on says and I quote, verbatim "In this day and age, he'd be sharing a cell with R Kelly." That I’m sorry is adisgusting and WRONG ! Are you aware of R Kelly’s crimes ?! I would like your response to this as you seem to think we are heading up a posse because we see this as an injustice in fact we are incensed by it. It is plain and simply wrong. This again goes against Barbara Shearer’s words in her Times interview again the points we were trying to make. Can you not see the problem here ? Nash also said Elvis loved 14 and 15-year-old girls “He was insecure about his sexual prowess and wanted virgins so they wouldn’t have anyone to compare him to as a lover. Adult women scared him. Again we are seeing Nash beliefs become the narrative of Elvis Presley and his relationships with women. she hasn’t that proof the same as she doesn’t have the proof that the Colonel was a murderer I’m sorry but I do have a problem with this type of journalistic /author approach. Elvis dated adult women all his life. If that forms as your narrative so be it, but it doesn’t form mine and Scotty’s. I have difficulty taking anyone seriously when they hold up David Stanley as some kind of morale observer, this is just laughable whoever makes this claim. Stanley claimed: "His taste for young girls, aged 15 or 16, made me sick. "I told him that it's a miracle he didn't get busted. By your own admission do you not think Elvis would have fired him for what he thought of him and reputedly said ? Come on man this is utter nonsense In fact what he is doing is making himself to look a far better person than the man he has defamed all these years. That isn’t a good trait in anyone especially someone he claimed as a brother ! (Step) These are lies can you not see that ? Why should anyone believe what he has said over the years ? Do you honestly believe all this ? Then he pulled it back to the suicide that he’s been peddling for years. David Stanley Elvis "just couldn't carry on" with the guilt he felt. He also feared being exposed in a book. Again holding David up as a counter argument really is ridiculous! Important to add that Stanley received a huge backlash from this and backtracked very quickly on his comments. Offering an apology for the comments he made on the programme. I might add he then removed his apology trying to distance himself from this comments and this project, again a real man of virtue here. Are you still happy to use David Stanley ? As a point of interest Reeca Smith not Rhysa was Stanley’s friend and most of what transpired in the programme appeared in BLPH. Now we have Reeca account to camera and I agree she sounded very sincere but again questions are raised, we only have her account and that of Stanley. But one thing that stood out is whatever happened it was far more innocent as Reeca’s words, than what Stanley reputedly believed what was going on when he happened to walk into the room Elvis and Reece were in. Again his take on most things reveal more about him that of the individuals he speaks of. Again we are merely trying to ensure Shearer’s words are used as a counter to the media frenzy from this documentary and what runs throughout from commentators such as Stanley and Nash of Elvis being a sexual deviant in his obsession with young girls. I’m not sure why this is worthy of criticism ? You claiming it was guilt that he gave away the car is just your belief, if Elvis didn’t give away hundreds of cars there may be some truth but I’m not sure that holds up ? Elvis gave cars to complete strangers throughout his life. That was the good in him his generosity of spirit. Your cocaine comment which has no correlation with the subject with which we are talking remind me of its relevance again ? oh yes to show he wasn’t perfect or to be held up on a pedestal, we’ve come a complete circle. I will again try and reaffirm the purpose of the video and we again come to shearers words "Elvis wasn’t a groomer, he wasn’t abusive. The relationships had very little to do with sex. There was not a lot of sex full stop." This is the whole point of the video it’s ONLY purpose. Not to push what you believe, holding him up on a pedestal, that was never the intent of this video.
I'm pretty sure Ann Margaret would have turned down the offer to participate in that documentary. She's smart and knows how dark and dirty the business can be, and would have been wary of them trying to twist hers words.
Ann Margaret probably would never ever agree to this type of interview she is too classy of a lady and respected their friendship and the man that Elvis Presley was. Even in interviews she has given over the years she refuses to go into details because they were both very private people.
I only saw snippets but it's like why would they do this at this time and Allana Nash disgustingly comparing him to R Kelly Elvis never hurt or urinated on or sexually abused any of his fans or women he was with so yeah it's sensationalism I'm not saying he wasn't doing what he shouldn't have by cheating but comparing him to a pedophile is nauseating, I don't think Elvis ever had to force himself on any woman.
Yes I haven’t seen it but I wouldn’t now for sure. Side note, do you play the piano? I don’t know where you get these awesome renditions of Elvis songs with just a piano. I don’t know if you are playing those or not?
I also find so many of the instrumental music you use in your videos very beautiful. I wish you would mention in the description box what music was used, so we could go find them, and possibly download them.
I did watch it is that not the one Billy Stanley made remarks about Elvis along with these women was here an gone an hope it’s stays gone they should be ashamed
It's coming, this was a U.K. project, so that's why it streamed there first, but unfortunately it will be coming soon to the U.S. Combine this with the Priscilla movie coming out in theatres in a coupe weeks, and a flood gate of Elvis hate will be opened anew. You know I never used to worry much about all the Elvis trashing because, lets face it, Elvis has been gossiped and talked about in unsavoury ways for decades now, but this narrative of Elvis being a pedophile, groomer, violent and predatory is really taking hold and becoming stronger. A whole generation of people that knows nothing about Elvis or his history, are now discussing him as predator of young girls. I hope EP Enterprise are aware of all the talks on social media and will be working on doing something about it, because this is starting to really damage his legacy, to the point that discussing his music seem to now be secondary to discussing his relationships, or every little one of his flaws.
@@TheEcchoI'm afraid you are right about the new generation of fans. I HATE that they are shown this ugly and false picture of Elvis! EPE sure knows what's going on. And they have the obligation to counteract. I trust they will. I can only imagine what Lisa Marie would have to say! I hope and prayJoel Weinshanker will do everything to act in her and her father's interest. Elvis needs every support he can get. TCB
Dear Scotty and Craig. Yes indeed truly misleading only statements were used in the editing that portrayed Elvis badly. I'm sure they didn't feel happy about the end result the ladies themselves to!
The truth is what is in your heart when you think of this man..we know the real truth.. There are plenty of testimonies that reflect this..but they don’t want to search these out..
I have not seen this nor really heard of it till a short time ago I di know there has been some nasty allegations aimed at Elvis. All I could do was delete the posts.after I gave them a piece of my.mind. It breaks my heart but also makes me very angry that so M eone has started these nasty rumors. He's not here to defend himself so it's up to us fans. I don't think there's a woman who dated him etc. That wouldn't do it again. I know I would.😊
Thank you Scotty for standing up and defending Elvis sad part is Scotty there’s always someone who is going to belittle Elvis and others who have passed on. I’ve seen videos on UA-cam and I’m horrified at the lies
well if so many peoplle saying intimacy should not be talked about !! Certainly about a man like our EP as he never ever talked about his private life!! But..... the one person who is talking about that is and certainly did after the divorce was and is his creepy ex wife!! every interview with her she was putting so much mud on his beautiful head he could not even breath anymore!! Her first interviews after he left us were already so low😤and that never did change! The poor man was trapped in this relationship and could not get out unless he coughed up massive amount of money! She only loved his Fame! his Name ( which she is still using against EP's will) and above all this his money !!
The documentary was a disgrace and not 'all' of the women were genuine - a little research would have shown that. I know several of the participants and they were shocked with the way it turned out. Elvis has been big news for the past few years and shamefully, whenever he's mentioned, there's a need to sensationalise him. Totally sickening!
Hey Scott and Craig, havent seen or will watch this trashumentary. Why after almost 50 years these women come out of the woodwork? Usually this stuff happens to politicians, not icons. Take care.

Take care!
Thank you 😊

I sat through the whole three stomach churning episodes until the bitter end. It's still on a free to air channel in Australia. In between Nash and Finstad acting like they were professors of psychology, Currie Grant, David Stanley and some very high profile Elvis "women" who surely couldn't have been that naive to not know the slant the show was going to take, the whole program should never have seen the light of day.

Scotty I've seen here in America a couple months ago on UA-cam. It got pulled. It's disgusting. I've heard awful things being said about what people should have done or would have done to Elvis. Thanks to these aweful stories coming out.
Here’s hoping EPE are monitoring the situation very carefully
What is name of documentary
Haven't seen the documentary but it's so bad that all these awful things are being written and said about him and Elvis isn't here to defend himself - I'm sure if Lisa were still here with us she would have something to say about it all - it's all so very sad 😢
Yes, none of this would be happening if Lisa hadn't passed away. She sang "they tried to make you look broken; NOT WHILE I'M LIVING."
Unfortunately, a post-surgical complication from a 2019 surgery took her life completely unexpectedly.
@@memphismaverick100very true….
Great points made thank you
Thank you for all your doing, you make such a difference.
Luv the show.
You tell it! Elvis forever!
right on!
You are so right ..I’m sure EPE are looking at this situation..they gotta be..right?
@@ScottysElvisPresleyMusicChanel You'd think they would be doing something about it. They're our only hope of stopping this shameful stuff.
Grrrrrrr! 🤦♀️
Hi scotty and graic , thank you for always putting out great material! Keep up the great work !❤
Well said ❤
I haven’t felt inclined at all to watch it, and now I definitely won’t. ⚡️
What is going on with all this accusations he can't fight back ? There are lots of stars you are alive who have done much worse but they can sue !!
Nash ! Don’t get me started !
Will they though..she’s dangerous to the Elvis Legacy..end of..

Come on man this is utter nonsense
In fact what he is doing is making himself to look a far better person than the man he has defamed all these years.
That isn’t a good trait in anyone especially someone he claimed as a brother ! (Step)
These are lies can you not see that ?
I will again try and reaffirm the purpose of the video and we again come to shearers words
"Elvis wasn’t a groomer, he wasn’t abusive. The relationships had very little to do with sex. There was not a lot of sex full stop."
This is the whole point of the video it’s ONLY purpose. Not to push what you believe, holding him up on a pedestal, that was never the intent of this video.
I bet she didnt interview ann margret, how do these people get away with this slander and blackening of his name and legacy .
Because they can, the law needs to change regarding defamation
I’d like to say yes..but no it’s not me..😉
I also find so many of the instrumental music you use in your videos very beautiful. I wish you would mention in the description box what music was used, so we could go find them, and possibly download them.
@@ScottysElvisPresleyMusicChanelI'd wondered about that, too. Still very beautiful 🎶🎶🎶
I did watch it is that not the one Billy Stanley made remarks about Elvis along with these women was here an gone an hope it’s stays gone they should be ashamed

Very fine video. Does anyone know why the docuseries hasn't streamed in the U.S. yet?
Trust me that’s a blessing

Thank you Scotty for standing up and defending Elvis sad part is Scotty there’s always someone who is going to belittle Elvis and others who have passed on. I’ve seen videos on UA-cam and I’m horrified at the lies
💥Everyone who says nasty things about Elvis and makes idiotic material, they all deserve our universal contempt.💥
Agreed 100%
well if so many peoplle saying intimacy should not be talked about !!
The Whole Purpose of this was a Woke Expose,I saw it that’s why it was heavily edited in that Narrative
Agreed
Hey Scott and Craig, havent seen or will watch this trashumentary. Why after almost 50 years these women come out of the woodwork? Usually this stuff happens to politicians, not icons. Take care.
Well done lads shared ❤
