Domo Kun Halloween Costume / Cosplay! How To Build A Domo Kun Costume (Novice Build Tutorial)

For Halloween 6 years ago I decided to make my first costume, a Domo Kun! I built this suit myself for Halloween and Cosplay. I show you how to build your own Domokun suit so you can learn from my novice costume builder mistakes.
My Domo Kun costume is relatively simple. It's two boxes cut and fit together, then taped with duct tape. I then stitched red felt on the inside and made the teeth out of two layers of white felt. The outside edges of the Domo costume box are covered in fuzzy brown felt. The eyes are 2-3 layers of black felt cut out and stitched onto the brown fabric.
I made two arms out of the same fuzzy brown felt and stitched on hand pockets so I could cover my hands for pictures. The pants are two cylinders of fabric stitched together and safety pinned onto my jeans belt. This Domo costume is the perfect companion to all your domo merchandise.
This is the first costume / cosplay I've ever done. I'm really happy with what I made, but there's definitely a lot of room for improvement if you were to make one yourself. Learn from my mistakes and make the best Domo Kun costume ever!
