You've been busy with your shed, mandolin and guitar. Good on you both for getting back into your music. I'm glad you found the more peaceful lake for a warm up before you paddled out in the bouncy waves - which looked like fun!
Feels really good with music but hard work with the shed, I hope I will be done with that in May so I can enjoy summer after that! Erika loves to paddle in the waves, I could have just been on the little lake.🤗
So much fun! 🤩
Yes, you like waves!🤗
I love to paddle but having variety and other activities is even better, good luck with the music.
Thanks, I hope my wrist will be good with playing guitar. I like to do different things to a limit. Gets board when I do to little and stressed when I do too much, hard to be in the middle.
Good choice to kayak rather than paddle board on Little lake Ojaren with the windy conditions 🙂 Hope this will be the last bit of ice for this year. I bet your are both looking forward to the warmer weather. I know I am. I still haven't paddled yet. Last Sunday the wind was perfect, but still a bit too cold for me and also I was working. However, next weekend is looking warmer. Hope the wind is light. Good luck with your kayak shed. Enjoy your music. I'm not very musical 🙂
Yes at least for my wrist it was a good choice. My wrist that I have problem with like the kayak. I also hope that was the last ice I saw on the lake for the season! Yes you are completely right, we are longing for warmer weather! So you also have som working to do. I hope both weather and time will be on your side for a paddle! Thanks, will be building a lot this week, going to be good weather.
I also hope that my wrist will work with the guitar. Time will tell.
Freedom!
Yes! 🙌🤗
Really enjoying your videos Dan-Erik, thanks so much for sharing. Apologies if this is a question you've answer many times before, but I'm curious at what water temperature you generally start to feel comfortable leaving the drysuit behind?
Thanks, happy to hear that you enjoy watching my videos. I don't have an easy answer on that, it depends where I paddle and what water craft I paddle. If I paddle board I skip faster because it´s so easy to come back and I have extra clothes with me, easy to change on the board. If we look on kayaking, home in the river where it´s near to river bank, I might skip around 10C. On this lake I paddle in this video around 15C, because it´s a lot of islands and not rought water. Some waters, rough sea I will never skip if I kayaking. But when I skip might not be the best for you, so do what you feel comfortable with.
Tracking is not bad at all on these yaks.
Yes, really good, my first x500 was a different story you find that here: ua-cam.com/video/4DyR6LxWWEM/v-deo.htmlsi=u8BXs9Qwe5fK0hs9
Great video great paddle.
You should grab yourself a paddle leash just encase.
Thanks! Yes paddle leash is a good thing to use.🤗
Just s personal view but I don't like a paddle leash, that's why I always have a spare paddle.
@@davidpoots8362 I agree I don't like them either But like a condom I would rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it... lol
@@davidpoots8362 yes different solutions is good to use in different situations and conditions. Both leash and spare paddle is good to have. I have a Greenland paddle that is small and lightweight that will be really good as a spare paddle. If I’m alone I normally go with a leash. In this situation we are two people and waves will take us back to the road or beach if we just go with the waves.
