- The second part of this lecture shows us what it truly means to have trust in Allah and that in true submission to Him lie the keys to our own benefit and salvation.
Prophet Ibrahim (AS) is willing to slaughter his son if it pleases Allah and knows the wisdom behind it is inconceivable and beyond his comprehension, yet his trust and faith in Allah makes him not hesitate. It shows the value Islam places on a mother, in the story of Hajar (AS) and Ismail (AS). The result is the building of the Ka’bah and the unity of the world 5000 years on, manifesting the symbol of the oneness of Allah, unity and brotherhood and the true meaning of Islam.

Assalamu Alaikum br/sis.,
Please note: I made a mistake in the Quran verse at 2:22 in Arabic. 1.Instead of وَمِنْ كُلِّ ضامِرٍ it should be وَعَلى كُلِّ ضامِرٍ.
And, instead of يَأْتوكَ it should be يَأْتينَ.
2. When prophet Ibrahim as asked for a righteous child, I used the word ‘give me’, the correct word is ‘gift me’.
Apologies for the mistake. It is an amanah (trust) to correct myself to you.
I love the changing in audio when you recite from the Quran. Jazak Allah kheir for these lessons and Allah yehfazak.
I found a very new perspective from the life of Ibrahim A.S which I always questioned about. How did he leave his family behind and how hajar was able to remain patient. There's so much to learn and the way you explained has definitely increased love and respect for both of them in my eyes. May Allah accept it from you and increase your far more!!

The rituals during Hajj and how some Muslims viewed Hajar Aswad ( the black rock ) are quite alarming, their reasoning that make the simple things out of love turned into haram, reminds me of your lectures about Myth and Superstitious.. May Allah guides us all ..
