No this one exists because it was the technology demonstrator like the Black Night was but later got adopted for production unlike Black Night

People underestimate challengers so hard these days, i always prefer challenger mk 3 over leopard and abrams (second best apfsds at this br and reliable armor makes up for it) and its not as slow as people claim it is, it can maintain the speed on par with soviets and doesnt fall back too much, its role is a back liner and i know not many people like that role but challenger is best backliner in the game at that br.
Please add proper composite armour values for challenger 2/3 hull, and un-nerf the reload. It really needs it

We are taking about Russian paper planes and tanks and their fake prototypes
Just add the abrams DU it has 5 prototypes whilst the T-80 UK Only had thermals on its experimental version and it still got them

There's been way more than just 5 prototypes that received DU inserts, and there have been multiple bugreports with a ton of sources on the matter. Gaijin is just refusing to fix NATO tanks. This isn't something new, Gaijin has nerfed tanks ahistorically, then presented with historical proof that the nerfs were wrong and still refuses to revert/fix them. @@arcadeians

After suffering through the whole Challenger range... The Chally 3 is indeed fun to play now. Good mobility and that DM53 helps. :)
Unfortunate that it should be faster yet they refuse to improve the top speed
@@overlordminigun6346 and the armour lmao, but the chally 3 is actually a nice improvement and i have been enjoying it.
That includes a few vehicles in WT. Eg, AC3 was never built even as prototype.
@@jacobb-c7946 Ye it is a good improvement and all the Challengers are good tanks and I love them to death, but the 3 should be better and I want them to improve it just because it could be a God machine if they modelled it correctly. It’s annoying that the only fast Challenger is the 2E (not saying it’s bad)

Oh my sweet summer child. The XLR is just going to be another Leclerc AZUR : a copy & paste, riddled with historical inaccuracies with as much armor as a light tank.
@@totolescargo Given its got a new round, the OFL 2, new thermals, reworked Modular composite armour inside the turret, and new Laser Warning Receivers, so no, if implemented as it is IRL it would be far from a direct copy of the AZUR

@@ExosphericalI think what he meant is that Gaijin will implement it horribly, so it likely won’t get any of the items you stated above. It will be identical to the S1 (just like the SXXI), with no spall liners, new armour, or round cuz “stats.”
If the SXXI was implemented correctly it would be a great competitor to the 2A6 or BVM, but we’re just not gonna get the correct models I don’t think.

Someone already asked this during their stream, and i think they said it would do some dramatic changes to the graphic and stuff so they wont do that, atleast for now...
It would be cool if they added brake lights on ground vehicles like tanks and armored cars.

For anybody wondering, yes the Challenger 3 should be faster than it is in game, only the Challenger 2 TES has the 59kmph top speed, the rest without 15 tons of upgrades can go to 61 and the Challenger 3 is supposed to be faster (prob similar to the 2E) the armour across all versions should be thicker, and the mantlets should be tougher as well. It isn’t a bad tank but there are so many small problem areas that it really brings down the usefulness of any Challenger 2 when you’re trading speed for amour and that armour is modelled as average

Are future Challenger tanks going to have identical suspensions, engines, cannons, etc - but also be 10-15t heavier? They'll have the same armor, but still be heavier.

An armor upgrade for Challenguer 2 would be pretty good, it's the slowest MBT but has pretty bad hull armor. And TES and OES versions ERA on the sides is almost useless compared to russian vehicles.
