Again you briefly and accurately describe how the methods of design and shaping for our trees. Your followup videos are a bonus. They help us to realize what we can expect in time, what can go not-so-well, and what may have caused it, and how to proceed in turn the tree into a beautiful bonsai. Thank you.

I have also started making little wire -wrapped rocks that I hang from limbs to weigh them down and droop them.

Not sure if you are an engineer or machinist by trade. I'm a software engineer now but have learned over the years to work first on additive manufacturing. Needing to make what i design perfect, or closer than what my hands do, i got into 3d printing. That inevitably led to subtractive. I've always thought about the planned movements as only being possible because nature evolved us into something that can, less efficiently in ways and more in others, create and modify faster than what came before us.
It seems that i have a pull back to nature because it feels in line with engineering. There's a link, no matter the time spent at the screen doing something.

So you bought tools from Temu as I have very cheap but good enough quality so if they get damaged it can be replaced,, I use all the methods you have demonstrated, the string or rope I haven’t tried but will when I need to so thank you for your videos.

Can you clip at any time? Just do it after 4 months?😊
