I have the racks up and in place for the most part.
I'm ready to unload the table in the center of the shop. The items on the table can be sorted and placed on the racks in better order. I'm sure I will come up with options and ideas as I go.
I signed up with Spring to make and deliver Old Sneelock’s Workshop T Shirts. You can go teespring.com/...

Seam's like we are always hunting a way for more storage! We are always praying for you and Lydia 🙏🙏🙏
Grampie got me started on the hunt for efficient workshop storage.
I have had a wish for storage that was easy to get to. The old shop was benches on the south and east wall between 40 and 50 feet of bench. With 2 foot wide, 2 feet deep and 6" depth drawers stacked four high.
Now I have a bit more stuff. I need a way to get to it without hunting. I think the sliding tool walls might just be it.
Bypass pannels on electrical strut is a great idea. Right in the face of the shelves would be even better since it cover up the mess and makes it look more organized than it is. Make sure you get super strut not regular so it can hold reasonable weight. You talked yourself into a better system already!
That system you see is good and I'd encourage yoy to look up lev racks. You don't have to buy them but it may give you inspiration hax man did a homemade version which isn't crazy hard to make. The thought of everything having a place is exciting!
The ACE has those sliders for brass fittings and other stuff. Probably takes up 2 feet with 4 or more sliders. I have my corded drill motors for heavy stuff and battery stuff for odds and ends. Trash guys are hauling off a lot of outside stuff since I'm inside most of the time. Tidying up and easier to mow and non-trimming. And if I had an entrenching tool it'd be with the rest of the shovels and rakes. Have a fine week and we all huff and puff. God Bless Yall.
Cutting back and trying to keep up are both big jobs.
Some days I wish I was still working. Then I would get a day off once in a while.
How's she goin'? You have got a lot of 'organization' done Dave!! It looking really good in there buddy. I like your idea of the hanging/sliding tool racks. That would be akin to by sliding vertical drawers I built by my mechanical work bench. It's a great way to stow gear. I think, with your racks, it would be pretty easy to gear that up too. Great idea!! Take 'er easy!!
Still more. I don't think I will ever be completely finished. Like you I work on all manner of things. Spare parts take up a lot of room.
@@OldSneelock They sure do!!!
