Haha I love how everyone seperates Adam from Jonas. We all pretend they're two different characters. Which is pretty much the point. Adam is the antithesis of Jonas. The minotaur of Jonas' labyrinth. Jonas stared into the abyss and Adam stares back into him.
@@pseudonymousbeing987 I really can't imagine Jonas to grow up to be like Adam. I really can't. Something just doesn't add up like so much change? I think Adam is Jonas, but in an alternate universe because Jonas is too pure to be Adam
@@azaka3720 well, if you see now from Season 3, Adam wasn't bad. He did everything that Claudia asked him to do. He just wanted to end the loop and wanted to destroy the origin. He also wanted to bring Martha back but couldn't. Adam wanted to destroy the origin (which wasn't the origin) while Eva tried to protect it. Adam is a nice person but with a different thought
@@snehalray1731 True. Adam is a monster who had the correct end game all along. He just had the wrong origin. Jonas since the beginning had only 2 goals, to protect everyone and to correct everything. But these 2 goals were not mutually exclusive because they can't be achieved together. Everything is only correct when none of his true loved ones exist at all.
Michael a person who loved his son more than everything .Hannah a person who cares only for herself. Both Michael and Jonas deserved a better wife and mother they are such brave and loyal persons.
I can only imagine what's going inside Mikkel's head. He grew up along side his parents, they did not have a clue and saw his teenage son when he was just in grade school. It's so crazy. The moment he realized the reason why he had to go through that hardship gave him relief even if he had to sacrifice himself for his son. You would only see the bigger picture when the puzzle pieces were already on it's place. Mikkel/Michael was so selfless.
I really love the filial love between Jonas and Michael/Mikkel. Michael really love Jonas that he did not hesitate to sacrifice himself. It was so sad yet so beautiful.
I still don't get why the death of Michael/ Mikkel causes everything? Why does Jonas want to prevent Michael/Mikkel from Killing himself? Why is His death the beginning of the suffering?
It's the Butterfly effect. Ok first, Jonas doesn't want Michael to kill himself because 1. He is his father and he truly loves him the most (more than his mom because as Jonas said to his mom "You don't need anyone else. You only need yourself" he believes his mom is selfish) 2. The death of Michael is the beginning of the whole loop but also where the loop ends. It's a closed loop. If Michael doesn't kill himself, the chain of events leading to mikkel's disappearance won't take place. It's the butterfly effect meaning, one event leads to another. So if mikkel didn't kill himself maybe something different would happen other than mikkel going into the cave. You get it? Michael loved his son Jonas. He didn't want to erase jonas' existence so he killed himself so that his suicide will lead up to the events of mikkel's time travel to 1986 leading to the existence of Jonas. Because if mikkel doesn't time travel back,Jonas won't exist. So michael commits suicide. For his son. Also Jonas kinda convinces him to commit suicide (non deliberately) trying to prevent his suicide.
So I’m confused here? Or did I misss something someone explain! Why Jonas take Mikkel to the caves? When did this happen they never showed why Jonas did this and who told him to do it ?
They did show it in the season 2 the episode an endless cycle. It was when jonas and Mikkel were talking. If u watch season 3 u realize that Jonas has to take Mikkel into the caves cause it won’t effect just his own existence but everyone existence as well including Mikkel. Jonas needs to be born cause he is the beginning of the family tree and the ending of the family tree
Jonas and Mikkel are probably the most pure yet broken characters on this brilliant show. Great video!
Thanks for watching :)

Their relationship is so pure both as friends and father-son.
He literally killed himself just so Jonas could achieve his goal.
I agree

My favorite tragic characters.

One of the most strong and beautiful bonds of the series.

Question, did adult Jonas have the scars on his neck in season one from the hanging? Can't seem to remember.
Yes. So does the older Jonas as well as Adam.

To set Jonas on his journey, for instance.
