The way the alternate paths played out and got worse was really engaging. I really did think you'd be escaping the house with the vent path but lol wow
So happy you did that, I kept saying to myself: "I wonder what would have happened if he used the second bag on that mannequin" and "I wonder if the vent leads to instant death or a special item". Then you replayed them. In a class of your own mate, thank you.
I'm really enjoying this playthrough, it can be really spooky sometimes, perfect for watching at night while the lights are off. (and probably gonna have a nightmare later)
I've said this before and I'll say it again, I LOVE the fact that you explore! Thank you so much for going back and finding the different paths, it made this game so much more interesting. :)
Franklin: ... you and me will have some fun... The way he said that gave me chills, his voice acting is fantastic. I swear he must've studied Mark Hamill as others have pointed out, good choice if true.
This has been one of the best games I've seen in the psychological horror genre. Think it's mainly because of the nature of the Beast, aka Franklin. Human beings are the scariest creatures EVER! One never truly knows what's going on in the mind of any person. Listening to Franklin throughout the game was creepy. I can not imagine being harrassed/mentally tortured by a person such as him.
I wonder what would have happened if you walked down the stairs when Franklin mentioned the seven flyffy kittens in the last part. Anyways, this is great, looking forward to part 4!
Didn't expect it to be a lot worser with every new decision. I thought otherwise, that it will improve something. Or maybe...... things are not as they seems to be.... Gosh! I adore this little wooden tank riding in that play room alongside the choo-choo train. :D
Indeed, I thought the vent might provide a proper escape! But at the same time, now that I think about it, wasn't it Andy who had also said to just keep playing Franklin's game? That that was the only way of possibly getting out? I could be totally mistaken, though.
Oh thank you for checking what happens if you use the vent! Or else I would've died of curiosity. This game is so dark and creative, I'm so waiting for the next part!
So, so glad you went back to see where the other doors (or vents) would lead. Even despite the gruesome result of going through the vent, I would have felt so bad to have missed out on that after hearing Andy's tapes - and I think that was actually the scariest path of all, with how angry Franklin was. Thank you so much for showing us all the different options! Also, this is probably nothing to worry about, but it seemed like you might have forgotten to pick up the backpack at the end of the video (in David's box). If so, hope you're able to get it! Thank you for another excellent playthrough!
Did you notice that the corpse on the gurney in front of the four other colored boxes vanished once you came back out with the rainbow key? Spooky~ 33:50 and 36:26 for reference.
Considering the stalker note Franklin wrote of how he MUST have David, and the note of how he really enjoys killing people and keeps telling you not to be afraid, I’m not sure there’s any reason at all to take whatever he says at face value.
This games terrifies me. I really hate ventriloquist dummy style dolls. I’m so glad you’re taking all the scares for us!! I still start holding my phone away from my face during the scary bits. 🤣
Chris I think you missed a tape, when you step out of the box the mannequin on the right is holding something. Also love the quick updates and the going back on yourself. Keep it up mate. Cheers!
Thanks for another great video on this series Chris! Actually, fighting back is much more preferable than playing Franklin's games, despite the contrary (sorry mom and dad RIP 😆). There's multiple endings as mentioned by the other commenters since it involves different paths.
When you finish this are you going to go back and check all the things you missed? I really want to see what's behind that vent Edit: I wrote this before you replayed it, my bad
Thanks for going back! I have to admit I wasn’t expecting any path changes but this game surprised. I know it’s a multiple ending game so I wonder if this determines it 🤔
Thank you for going back and checking all 3 outcomes! I don't know if a lot of UA-camrs would have taken the time. This game has got me. I too thought it would just be another crappy Steam game. They even used the house that John Wolfe hates (SG house or something? Can't remember the name) and I've seen that toy rabbit and so many other props in a million games. But these Devs are great. A good story, (dark but who doesn't love those) but also different outcomes & endings. I'm excited. A rare find... Oh and Chris is pretty good too I suppose. 😉💖
Really nice multilevel story design here! Thanks for playing like you, and innocently exploring your options. Best of luck at the carnival, man -- or should I say, kid? I think you'll need it, 'cause it's looking like No Way Out...!😕🤞🏾
At first, I didn't really know if I would like your channel or this game (sorry if that sounded rude! It's just that in my experience, some channels really like to overexaggerate when it comes to horror stuff. And I didn't know about the game either since it just reminds me of those Steam games that have bad reviews, which I hope this explanation makes sense) but I loved this! I'm really addicted to this game and your channel so I'm really excited to see what's next! You're really cool too, considering you went back to see what the other options were. Unrelated but I see a lot of comments relating Franklin to the Joker, but his voice sorta reminds me of Dr. Loboto from Psychonauts. Both are pretty creepy in their own right so that checks out. Good job to Franklin's voice actor!
CJU is the best! No rediculous constant screaming, (at least not on purpose 😆) He can mentally map a game's floorplan in his head. He's got a great voice, very funny, and this community is nice. I could go on, but I'll stop by saying he's also handsome af. I sound "thirsty" (hate that phrase) but it's not like that. I'm just a fan who came here trying to find someone who wasn't screaming and toxic all the time. Welcome! 💖
Absolutely in love w this game and your playthrough, no joke! Its a real pleasant surprise that this game has so many paths you can take and the game actually accounts for that. eagerly awaiting more vids :D
I don't actually think your friend or parents were killed. Especially the parents. It doesn't make sense that they were executed in the short amount of time you were gone for, so I have to believe they're facsimiles crafted to coerce David to do Franklin's bidding. I mean it's clear he has experience with crafting mannequins.
Yeah, that or, as someone else said, they were already dead. At the very least, they must have already been kidnapped and would have died anyway (as in Franklin was just saving them for this exact sort of moment). I hope you're right instead, though - it would be nice if David's loved ones living (and David himself) was part of the good ending.

Ooooooooo
I swear, the voice actor playing Franklin could give Mark Hamill's Joker a run for his money.
I thought he had joker vibes :)
Complete knockoff Joker but doing a great job at it
He also kind of gives off Warwick Davis Leprechaun vibes, when he's singing or giggling.

Every time the "stranger" said, "Excuse me?" I thought, "That voice is way too smooth for a psychopathic maniac. This guy is a pro."
I feel like the vent would have been a good idea, haha.

You make horror games with such humor I don't know how to explain it but your funny hahahaha
I usually hate a lot of notes, but the notes in this game add so much to the story. They make me feel dirty just reading them
The notes you find are absolutely chilling. Dark doesn't describe it!

I enjoyed seeing all the branching paths. They really put a lot of thought into this one.
