I love this channel because it allows me to discover new (to me) artists. It’s surprising how often I prefer the work of artists I had not previously heard of to that of the really famous ones.
Henri portarys light magnificently capturing the ethereal mood he wanted in his landscapes and contemporary locations of his time. His loose brushwork is wonderful using fairly muted values in the colors. We only see a few character paintings here, but these are some his best works.
Thank you for your gorgeous, exquisitely made videos. They have broadened my knowledge of painters I'd never heard of. We are endebted to you for you efforts.
This is great. I am learn ing much with these videos. I have no degree or qualifications . I paint instinctively and what I can copy. My Twin taught me a lot . Still I enjoy these Masters. Cause I can only go so far. My dad used to paint. I observe a lot. Since I started I have improved.
You all probably dont care but does anyone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.
@Johnny Esteban I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
The technique is Second Divisionism, a movement began by Paul Signac in 1893 after Georges Seurat passed away. The idea was to use small strokes, not dots. Also, no optical color mixing but exploration of color instead.
좋은 작품 감사합니다!

Thank you so much you saved my ass :D
@Emery Darwin Happy to help :)
His works strike the " lost chord" within me and permit me opportunity to both " hear and see" something celestial
Thank you for introducing me to painters I would never know otherwise. Each video enriches and inspires me.
Yeah I'm still waiting for someone to publish a Henri le sidaner collection book that isnt too expensive. He's my favorite painter
Me gusta sus pinceladas vibrantes, los matices certeros de colores que resaltan las luces y sombras dando al lienzo vivacidad a la obra.😊
Awesome
Love it
Very nice.

Henri Le Sidaner - Why are there no picture titles? It would have been nice to know!
シダネル大好き♥️
Best painter
Charming low light scenes. Master of contrapuntal colors and muted palette. A tiny portion of them has a bad taste of commercial art though.
I'm struck by the softness of his paintings. Is this a result of age or would they have looked like this when new?
看他的畫真是一種享受
que lindo...
Bellísimos cuadros
What is the name of the music please?
Surprised I never heard of this artist until I found a textured print at a thrift shop..his work almost looks like pointillism

Upon further reflection, I submit that the great painters are capable, in some sense,,of revealing to me what I dont "see" but only intuit.
