My first Loomis rod was an MBR783C IMX that I got in 1998. I got hooked. many rods later I don't have that one anymore but I do have the IMX Pro MBR903C which is an updated version of that classic rod. Back in 98 the IMX 783 MBR was one of their most popular higher end rods. I also have the IMX Pro SJR901S which i love for all things on the small side. lots of fun to throw for trout and small bass
Do you change the handle for the Bantam 6:2:1 and the 7:1:1 to match the handle length of the 8:1:1, or change the handle length of the Bantam models? Thanks
Can you give us a 891s & 892s rod weights (w/o reel) please??!!! I've searched the web high & low without success. Thanx, any in site will be greatly appreciated-
Of course they’re always refining components and graphite to make lighter and stronger. My selling points on these is definitely the ci4 handle. I think that’s a HUGE upgrade. Also the all new models or newly reintroduced models.
Excellent presentation, smart, quick tongue, smooth, and relatable. Any top-tier company should be proud to have you onboard.
Wow, thank you!
Lmao

Classic!
Great video as always!!!! sucks that we have to wait a month for the next one.
Awesome as always butha!!
The New GLX 891s and the NRX+ 821 NRR have the exact same stats! Is it just a longer version of the NRR
Well it’s 7” longer so there’s going to be a ton of differences when you fish them side by side.
Man i would love to see the bend in that 822C JBR in a vid or short!
How is the GLX 891 & 892 compared to the NRX+ 901 & 902? Heard its more backbone, but just wanted to know the differences.
Why the 4000 for finesse applications? And holy smokes thats a helluva arsenal!!!!
Beefier drag, bigger spool equals less line twist and further casts. The 4000 picks up line the fastest.

I just fish the handles that come on them.

The new GLX are they the same as the old GLX just a new handle?

What is the keeper you had on the 863 rod butt to hold the drop shot weight?
One of my wife’s hair bands. Lol
GLX 891S JWR, 1/8-3/8 Dart/Shaky head ? Highland Reservoir, Chasing Spotts.
Great video!
Is the G. Loomis GLX 902C MBR also capable to throw lighter bottom contact stuff (like a 1/4oz ned rig)? Thank you!
Hey Josh, love the videos was curious what all techniques would you recommend for the 904C MBR. I just picked one up the other day.
Dang it I missed you at the expo, what booth were you at?
I was moving around the expo. Sorry I missed you too!
Does the 863 have a softer tip than a 872 NRX?
Yes definitely a good bit faster too
Shimano needs to start selling 600yd spools of the mastiff
That's some expensive line that will probably never go on sale, love Shimano but I'll stick to sunline or Pline
@@tims_always_fishing7117 never liked Sunline mastiff has been working well for me and super thin and clear great line
1000 yard spools!!!
U need to take out a second mortgage to have a deck full🤷🏻♂️
