Natsume Yuujinchou is my favorite anime. It is so wholesome and gives you lot of feels... It was kind of weird to see it mixed up with anthropomorphic drink cans, reverse harems and other random shows. Not complaining though, just amused

91 Days is the one anime I can think of where not only would a faithful live-action adaptation (probably) NOT be completely awful, but could actually be an improvement if given to a competent enough director. Though it would have to probably be adapted in America for obvious reasons.

Brain Base was probably last studio to use 90s style animation (guessing by op's animation last one was in 2004) while most of the studios left it by the end of 90s (Somewhere in 1998)
BTW animations era's would probaly look like that 1998 - 2004 - Mecha Era Kamichu! 2005 - 2007 - Slow abandonment of mechas. Baccano! 2007 - Now - Natsume Yujinchou, Durarara!!, etc. era.
Mazinkaiser and Shin Getter are produced by the same studio with the ones who did Durara and Oregairu S1, it is crazy. ps: sorry, dont sue me for my bad grammar
