I hated Durarara when I watched it for the first time but then I watched again and I got interested on how the creators make the characters plots connect in the end
salvador fernandez lmao Penguindrum is not that good my guy, it went too self indugent with its presentation that it only properly focused on few messages it was trying to deliver, it wasn't really serious and focused way more on references and muh symbolism that weren't even connected with the message of the show, if you want something that really deserves the praise, Revolutionary Girl Utena is the way, it's focused on what it is about until end but suffers from repetition and some poorly handled plot points here and there, but despite its shortcomings, it handled its presentation, messages, themes and symbolism in a much more focused and mature way. So yeah Snob's right about that Rank 7 boi.
Hotarubi no Mori E LOL it's one of their best movies though haha I like the story hahaha SNAFU, NATSUME is very good, while Kurenai and Kami-sama Dolls is just good Props for Kurenai for Finishing the Story hahaha hey I like Yakumo hahaha

Claims Durarara's characters and setting are boring and uninteresting but claims the best "Trapped in a Video Game" anime is the one where emo kids sit around and talk in a drab desert for 30 minutes. It still is a good point when talking about a big multi-platform franchise like .hack Either you have the time to invest and try to see/play all the elements from it (which i myself do not have anyway) or you keep the interesting bits and rush through the rest. Anyway so you're not okay with a franchise trying to build itself through multiple works instead of limiting itself to just one ? As i see it you are just not interested enough to give Sign a chance even though it's a more than decent anime in itself and quite interesting if you know about the rest.
.hack//SIGN is Fate level of characters just talking about what they think they are going to do in one to one conversations between boring characters though, and has one of the least interesting mysteries I've seen in a while.
