+Mohaned Alshareef I think they're very well known. it's just that audiophiles prefer the likes of Dynaudio, Morel, HAT, Hertz, DLS, Focal, and even Audiofrog ... and other established brands.
the combination fascinates me is more is how I want to make my system but it remains a great mystery that tweeter ulilizarias the one of cdt audio elnuevo CRM-1200 or with the traditional DRT-26S thinking about that you make the system enacticon with a DSP or in the high notes you would take another brand? Thank you
So with this setup of the ES series. I'm thinking of going with a 3-way setup in my SRT-4, but using the factory speaker locations up front. Then I also seen your Braxial sets and figured, why not use that in the door for midbass/tweeter and then one of the smaller 3-4" speakers in that dash location up higher just to easy install. Do you think this would work as well as I'm hoping? Also, I just got turned onto your gear earlier tonight watching 5Star's videos. It looks good so far.
If you like the CDT speakers I recommend midwoofers in the doors, a 3" midrange in the dash and a pair of UpStage tweeters to complete the 3-way set. No to tweeters low in or on doors.
Are the es-06 drivers going to do well crossed over higher around 2000hz ? I’m looking to replace the hd5 in my current 3way setup. They are undersized slightly for the compartment in the kick panels, but the larger es06 would require some trimming of the sheet metal to get them to fit properly but apparently that’s what everyone does in the e36 I just found that out late and by then I had already purchased and used the 5 inch. My 3 way right now consists of the mx1000 crossovers, hd5, unity8.0 , and the drt-25 tweeters. My two options I’m considering is the hd6 or the es06 please someone shine some light if you read this comment soon thanks 😊
@@baruch1hashemhey bud! Thanks for the input so since making this initial comment I’ve gone full active and current setup is using the es06 as a bass dedicated driver cut off around 200hz/24db and the unity 8 plays from 650 on up and the tweeters around 4k upward. But as of this week i raised the bar on the frequency the midwoofers can play up to because I wanted overall level to be raised up a bit. I’m still try to get the hang of tuning with rew and my umm6 mic. One thing I discovered though about the es06 is that the fs is a lot higher than what cdt claimed lol. My ts parameters show about 65hz for free air resonance
@@onesikm3 definitely planning to do a 3 way when i get the time to work on the pillars to add some tweets. My current DSP, JBL MS8, is limited. Looking to upgrade to a minidsp or a Helix variant in the future.👍
I have an older ES 3 way set up and not only does it crank loud but very clear. Zero regrets
Cdt audio has very high quality build, especially the ES line, but they are not will known around audiophiles like other brands!!
