i feel like asic manufacturers manipulated kaspas price just long enough to make their money on it and now its struggling. i think they about to do the same thing with aleo except they'll keep propping it up since its a chinese based project. the good thing is that this cycle everything will go up high enough that we'll all be able to still profit as long as the teams for all these projects promote their coins/tokens in the right places to the right people. then again, or... maybe not

I hear that sound from miners and look at electrical bill and this thing for sure going crazy , you must have very very cheap electicity to make a very small profit. If you pay 2 or 5 cents for electricity you can make little profit if you pay more than 10 cents you loosing allot of money

Mannn I got into mining Aug 2024, got 2 KS0 ultras , an AL BOX, and a AL0 . Have about $2000 invested on those 4 machines and iv made back like $200 in ALPH and $150 in KASPA . Not to mention my electricity bill went from $180 a Month to like $280-$330 ( it’s 0.13kwh). This freaking blows 😓 should have just grabbed a LTC miner like the L9 and hosted it ..

Investing $30k directly into KAS on Aug 1 2024 @$0.20/coin would have purchased 150k KAS with no ongoing power consumption costs. DCAing an additional $5000 directly into KAS (vs. paying for mining power) over the past 5 months @~$0.13/coin would have purchased another 38.5k KAS, for a total of 188k KAS vs. 80.8k KAS that you mined. Why is mining better than just buying KAS? Sorry if this is an uninformed question; I am legitimately trying to understand the economics and upside. Thanks!
I tried to warn people when everyone was shilling Kaspa miners. The writing was on the wall with how aggressive the emission schedule is and how greedy asic companies were being. It was disgusting to watch. Glad I only mined KAS on GPU way back in the day.

So, it's normal, less and less Kaspa every month for miners, but remember when Iceriver was greedy, and they reduced too much the price of Kaspa miners. That was point where Iceriver ruin the Kaspa network. So, the power of the network was enough at 0,6 EH/s, we need balance at a point. To maintain this network, you need efficient miners or lowering the power of network. Many people will go to Sedra or Bugna, sometimes is better to mine SDR or BGA.

I think the Kaspa project has a lot of potential. Saying that I am becoming more and more skeptical as to Kaspa actually breaking out and thriving. Crypto is a what have you done for me lately thing....Kaspa really hasn't done much to promote itself. Part of me is starting to believe the conspiracy that ASIC manufacturers create the coin...promote just to sell miners then rug pool . I have 11 small Ice River miners, that are mining at a loss, but provide a 100 watts of heat. I am skeptical at this point if they will ever break even. Kaspa right now should be getting adopted by everyone and everything as it is fast, secure and scalable.....but I am not seeing that happen. My fear now is time is working against Kaspa in a very bad way. It will not be long before some newer crypto that can do what Kaspa does enters the realm and when that happens Kaspa will die. Will Kaspa break out and become the next Ethereum or will it wither on the vine much like Kadena did.

We are in a bullrun and KAS is still in this terrible range as it was an year ago. Hashrate is falling, mining is not profitable at all, It seems that what was supposed to be gold has become garbage. That's why I'm only mining bitcoin.
Here is the problem with Kaspa as I have said before. The flooding of the market with all of these miners is such a short period of time is forcing a lot of people to sell instead of hodl in order to ROI the unit quicker. This I feel has kept Kaspa from really breaking out to say 0.50 and higher. This the the major drag on the coin and will cause it to lag behind the other in the bull run in my opinion.
I have been solo mining with my KSO and KSO pro since I bought them when they were first released. Over the last 6 months I have only hit 1 block. Not even worth having them on.

Kaspa got leverage trading too soon. Caused a lot of instant surge in interest. Once that died off, price stayed stable for a year. It was overhyped and overpriced too early on and IMO is still over priced for what it is. It will go up in price, but I don’t think as high as people think it will. It may be a tech space, but just because you have good tech doesn’t mean you’ll replace everything that is tried and true. A lot of what I’m seeing is people saying it will take over because it has good tech.

Same thing happened thru 2014 into 2015 with LTC price suppression and the introduction of Scrypt miners. Then LTC went on 100x run thru 2017.
