That was quite a river crossing gentlemen,I never had much balance so would probably have slipped lol, you are all amazing getting across there and back again!! I wonder if that was a mill site or as you said a loggers cabin, or could have been a fur trapper as well, we will never know but it gets the brain going lol. There were some nice relics at the second site, the first button you found Charlie was fancy, a ladies button perhaps, there were quite a few buttons and odds and ends for a days hard work you all have relics to take back with you and thats a good day in anyone's book. Its almost 1 AM here so goodnight and God bless you my friends, good luck and happy hunting, love and hugs to you all Mary-Ellen LFOD UK
The river show looked like a lot of tannic acid and since the finds were next to the brook it could have been diverted for a small mill and you are finding parts that could be from a water wheel..
The relic photos are art. I must take shots of my own finds like that. Sugar may be delicious, but it is poison and addictive too. Gave up sugar in February... life is much easier without OTC crack.
Beautiful country you trekked through, could have gone either way. Fur trade sites were common and booming but they never settled for too long and moved on, so very little was left behind. You did well finding what you did, I appreciated the video. Thanks!
Oh this was is a good one. Right off the bat Dame gets nailed, Wayno's get a wedgie and Charlie finds his nut. Thanks for the shout out Dame. A spoon full of sugar makes the trek seem shorter
I recently dug a drawer pull that looks to be an exact match to the one you found. I found it in the lawn at my house. The farm here was established in 1787 but I have not found any silver yet.
I can't tell you how much I wish I could get up and go dig something again. It's been a long 9 years since I've physically able to get out and play in the dirt... I'm so grateful that y'all make these videos to share them out here so that I can enjoy watching y'all get out there and do the hiking and digging that at this time in my life I can't do it myself. But one day I will... So I send out a BIG THANK YOU!!!!! May y'all be blessed in Jesus name... BBE
lol... I have to share this: Ever since I've been a subscriber & enjoying these episodes, I watch at night here in bed with our two "Boys" (Tabby brothers.) Every time Charlie, Dame or Waynos swings their detector, I have to quickly mute my 'phone w/ my finger because the beeping freaks them out. P. S. The "Boys" send their best to Big Lou...
Awesome day Charlie and dame and waynos the Musketeers wanna wish you guys a good merry Christmas I've enjoyed the years watching you guys I'd like to get better connected to you on a security website text me if you do read this let me know🎅🤶🙏☃️👍❄
Wow you guys have been fighting against all that rain your area have been getting. The river was raging. But you still found a spot and found some old tools. At least you found a button too MISSION ACCOMPLISHED FELLAS!!!!
All you guys goin to grandma's house 🎶 over the river and through the woods 🎵 😁
Dudes, I have CREEKS bigger and deeper than that by my house. I live in the south. Pretty Country, Merry Christmas Guys.

Nice outing guys. That first site strikes me as a small old mill site. There was a lot of them in that area that tried and failed.
Nice axe head Dame. Great looking button Charlie & Wayne. Awesome tombac button Charlie.
Boots & socks off, long stick for balance ( used down stream ). Cross, dry off
& reboot. Fastest way in the end.

The brown coloration is mainly due to tanins from decomposing leaves, plus iron oxides in the rocks.
Stealth Diggers balance beam champs. Lol. Joyce❤️🇺🇸
Lol, XOXOXO
“Right on the creek…” industrial stuff … maybe a mill site?
