Love love love how they sent us these mods but nitrado hasn't got tolhe update to allow us to play our servers with mods it's been since last Friday since I can play on my server 😕 come on wildcard send nitrado the update to hotfix mod play
Omega lite worked fine with primal chaos and ark descended. But for some reason once I bought ark omega it is super laggy (on xbox) and no primal chaos dinos seem to spawn. There's still one or two descended dinos though. Did something change to make them incompatible ? Would getting rid of the prevent hibernation mod help ?
Yeahhh... microtransactions in a game that's so broken it can't be played half the time... no thanks lol
I play abot 6 hours a night and pull close to 100 fps, I'm just beginning to think people are playing it on subpar machines that can't handle it

... Why would anyone pay for mods? Paying a mod creator sure... But paying a company for individual dinos? Why am I not surprised. This is the same company that rolled out paid DLC before the game was out of alpha.
I think you’ve missed the part where the mods are from mod creators, they get 50% of the revenue.
@@xkaii8617 hard to call them "mod creators" if theyre just selling their work. This is just glorified DLC except WC only needs to give the green light.
I thought we were over paid mods and how stupid of an idea it was when bethesda tried to do it but here we are again.

yet minecraft marketplace exists? roblox too, steam players threw a fit about bethesda but ultimatly console kids wil lap this stuff up if its only way to play modded content
I think the dino mods on xbox are still not working hopefully wild card fixes this I can't get any thing to spawn sadly even with a dino wipe

Depends on the mod type. Maps: you will have to purchase to play. Creatures: Can't tame or make the saddle for them. Equipment: Can't make or use it. Structures: Can't make or place them.
i like that all of the mods are definitely worthy of being paid mods and arent garbage
all 3 of the maps are gorgeous, especially svart, nekatus is a goat and it's close enough to finished that there's nothing blocking gameplay
anomalocaris is a really well made creature and garuga needs the money to fund more additions development, without that money going to him he literally can't afford to keep working on the mods
the potions and sky islands are cool and add enough to the game that I'm okay with a price tag even though im not personally paying for them
also you talked about annunaki genesis, there is an ascended port available, but it's a fan project since the OG dev abandoned the mod like 5 years ago

Selling mods so soon in early acess seems so short sighted and greedy. Steam wouldnt allow paid mods so they had to move to forge, which is also taking a large cut, leaving the actual creator who put all the effort with only 50% of the earnings. Who pays for the inconvienences? the players! 5 dollars creature lol.
On top of that. Since its so early in development what will happend to scripted mods when the game inevitably updates? Are the mod creators responsable of updating their mods for life? what happens if they've quit Ark and the mods are left broken? Will the mod simply be removed from the store? will there be refunds for those who already purchased the now broken mod?
Who cares, money, lol.
