How to GRAFT Fruit Trees? - Whip and Tongue Method

Grafting fruit trees is a favorite past time of mine and can be for you as well! The process is very simple and the tools needed to graft an apple, peach, pear or other fruit trees is very minimal. A sharp knife, black electrical tape, a pair of limbs snips or pliers and a pair of work gloves if you like, is all you will need. The whip and tongue method of grafting fruit trees in my humble opinion is the best method to use because of the way the pieces are wedged together! Once you do this a few times you will be an expert and grafting trees every spring!
