My goodness you are incredibly competent, this is unbelievable. I have been dealing with brain injury for years and dealt with so many medical professionals none of which are at your level of understanding. Thank you for putting this content online. So many people are suffering deeply without help.

I had an event about two months ago. Effects: I don't have patience for BS as much as I used to before the event. I dont have tolerance for fake friends anymore after the event. It's harder for me to listen to someone talk BS. And I briefly started enjoying 1970s music like the Stylistics and Chicago - its like I could feel the soul in that music whereas before and now, not so much. And struggling with memory recall of names. though memory recall improving, I still can't tolerate listening to BS. I realized how good of a memory for names I used to have. Hopefully Jesus restores it all in good time.

It is possible the person has the inability to understand their feelings. Mad, sad, scared, nervous all come out as mad. Cognitive behavioral therapy would help those people take a beat to sort through what is happening in the moment and what the feeling is they are actually feeling. Then the person with the TBI would use their big girl words “ I am sad” “ I am nervous” “I am mad” it is hard as hell to do but it can be done. If the person with the TBI has been diagnosed with flat affect, that is something that should be discussed with their Cbt

I got cracked in the head with a metal pipe 5 years ago or so. I've never been the same sense. It's getting worse. I just don't know what to do. It seems to be cascading. Worse and worse. I don't know what to do. I'm not rich. I'm barely making it financially so I don't have a clue how I can deal with it. I have always had a bad temper but I'm having notions now that I can't live with. It's causing other problems with bad things I might do. 😢 any suggestions?

I'm trying to find a hobby that will be suitable for a TBI Survivor like myself with severe anger issues... I attempted Model Car Building and it worked for a while but it is no longer working ..

High fatty Omega 3 diet, no street drugs, aviod alcohol,
app called Breath has helped me deal w anxiety resulting from head trauma when i have to deal with the daily drain. Any stress wears me out, then causes frustration then goes into exhaustion. My nervous system gets dysregulated frequently. Breathing exercises help tremendously.
