Depending on the person's taste in the anime the list wasn't half bad but I wouldn't say it was the best of the best too . It was aimed at girls!
I find a really interesting thing: Different types people react to mech series: People who are familiar with anime:🥵Eva,Mazinger, gurren ……. People who watched anime: Is that Gundam?🤪 People who didn’t watched anime: something like Transformer anime? 😂😂

Seraph of the end does have some similarities to AOT, but they're largely different and not written by the same person Seraph of the end takes place in an apocalyptic world where most of humanity has died the ones who are left have to deal with the monsters you see in the clip, hungry vampires that now have a lot less food, and the greed of other humans

Their place in the list can also be dependent on the creator attachment to the series and how the song make them feel. Don't be deceived. The openings can be hype, but the story is sad or the op sad and the story happy.

Lowkey the only issue i have with new people reacting to anima opening as non anime watchers is the fact that you only get a little of the anime openings, so you cant really give a proper opinion on the song or anime. You should most definitely take recommendations from veiwers! I can tell the kinda music you dig and there's most definitely songs out there for you
