We used to build and race the old Honda CB’s. No you tube, just paper directions. Simple things like a jetting the carbs, KnN filters and a quality 4 into 1 race pipe would make all the difference in the world. I defiantly embrace the new technology and enjoy your videos. Even being an old man Harley guy now you still meet the nicest people on a Honda 😉

Easy enough install. Only thing I personally would’ve done different, is run that harness under the rail, as opposed to over it. I just don’t know how the seat is mounted, but I’d be concerned about the wire getting pinched. Great vid though!

is there any reason why you downloaded the two brothers exhaust system map - 16-049-006 ? i thought you had a yoshimura exhaust ? looking at the dynojet website wouldn't you need map 16-049-004

Hey man ! I bought a used bike that came with a power commander 5 that’s for it it was not installed . The bike is a 2013 Stryker and it has cobra intake and exhaust so I tried to get the maps and it says I need to pay 199 to get the license . Anyway around that ?
I have a 2018 Honda CBR650F. The carburetor trumpets are restricted on this model so if unrestricted, does the power commander have the option
for this mod?

I want to do an exhaust and power commander on my bike so much.... But I'd be staring down the barrel of a €1000 bill minimum :( you now have a beast grom 😂
does this make it go faster ? i changed my air intake, exhaust and sprockets its faster off the line but i lost top speed
It controls your airflow which helps it get the hogh top speed without the comander you run to rich or lean so its bad for the motor
Can you do stuff with the power commander like setting the AF ratio to 12.5 manually?
No but you can with the Aracer. PCV is junk the"tunes" only do anything between 70-100% throttle. And they don't optimize timing, they basically just dump more fuel so you don't blow up.
And the power commander auto tune sucks also. Works terrible and it takes like 600 miles to do anything, the Aracer autotunes is under 40 miles
Hey man, I subscribed a couple weeks ago after watching your video on how to change gears on a bike. and I am pretty hooked on your vlogs and bike build videos. I love the sound of your harley and the Grom doesn't sound bad either. I started watching your videos becasue I am in the process of getting my first motorbike. But being a big guy, 6foot5 310 pounds (Imagine a smaller version of Brian Shaw) I have no idea what bike to look for. Here in Australia our learner limit is 650cc So I can't get a harley just yet. Do you have any videos on bikes for big guys? (I heard that the street 500 is a tight fit for tall guys) Maybe your local bike dealership be interested in partnering up for a video? -nudge nudge wink wink-
Vaug get something like a klr650 idk what the market is like where you live but they can be had fairly cheap here in the states and seem like a pretty good big boy friendly bike

Would a Power Commander for 11-16 gsxr 600 fit a 2017 ?
You really don’t need a power commander. The ecu reprograms itself after a certain amount of miles/ride time. But... the programmer is good for timing advance and rev limiter..
Stock O2 sensors will not give you an air/fuel ratio of less than 14 to one that is a bit too lean ...so you need a wide band 02 sensor than works to read a wide range of air/fuel ratios and to get it to richen up the mix you need the power commander auto tuner V..and to be able to use the auto tuner you need a Dyno jet power commander V... and be advised you will have to install an 18mm O2 port in your exhaust as the stock narrow band sensors are way smaller , something like 12mm +or- , but not that much of a problem to remove the stock bung , but for reliability have the new bung that comes with the auto tuner tig welded into place ..and there are thread in reducers if you ever need to go back with the stock size
