I got just finished my k24 mrs. I run 2 silencers from Simons and absolutely love the setup as the intake is a lot more expressed in the cabin than the exhaust. Feel free to check my last couple of vids, and although its not English, there are English subtitles. My suggestion would be to mute the exhaust to a point where you could hear your own thoughts at least :) and get a proper intake!! Thats the best combo IMHO. Good luck with the works!
Hello fellow Kswapper! Thanks for your input! You are right! I still need to finish my itake! (Probably an extra silencer will make its way into this build). How does your header fit? Does it go as low as mine?
@@JesseSpec I was considering using a well designed custom 4-1 header from EK Civic with K24 conversion. However, it was too low for me - even lower than yours (maybe just about 4 cm off the ground, lol) and moreover, the merge collector was soooo far back! It ended in a position of the rear bumper :D It was so bad, the guys had to remove it to get the car on trailer! I decided to go for custom exhaust from scratch and my friend did all the work. He CAD designed and welded it. And now, even though it sits about a centimeter to the subframe with a ground clearance of about 11 centimeters, I still see face some issues when reversing or, for example, getting on the dyno :) If I were you, I would consider saving ground clearance as it may make the car... undrivable or simply unusable in some cases. Also, the setup with two silencers made it a decent cruiser (still, a loud one) as I also have the longest 6th gear.

That header is shocking!!! would not be happy with that, way to low . yay for the mr2 content tho!!!! thats why im here!!!

Two silencers your use to your GR now so if it’s too loud you may not want to drive it😊
